Gasthaus Elvira is located cost to buy connections and also with great views of mountains such as watzmann. Several hiking opportunities directly from the stay. Also good for short trip to Salzburg, Königsee etc. Breakfast was extensive and plentiful. Rooms were very cozy. Hosts make sure that we are happy and gave us hiking tips. I would recommend it again.

Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner (oven, utensils, microwave, dishwasher, pots/pans, toaster, etc.). Check-in was super easy and efficient which made the traveling process less stressful! Overall, I would recommend staying here if you’re planning to make your own meals and we would definitely stay here again.AdrianaGermany

Breakfast was not included so we purchased items an a grocery store. The facility was very nice, clean and well maintained. We got our keys out of a key box to which we had been given the code over Whatsapp. The parking was available and we had no problems with that. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the comfortable beds and views. A nice kitchen and refer was available for our use, so that was nice.

In Germany, recycling is very confusing to me. This was not a problem, because the hostess helped me with this. It actual was very educational. After a long day of hiking and sightseeing, the outdoor pool was wonderful! The pool was totally covered when the weather was bad and could be opened when the weather was nice. The grounds were exceptionally taken care of with several seating areas.

The rooms were spotless. The mattresses were firm and the beds spacious. The bathroom was big and exceptionally clean. The Hotel as well as the rooms were not brand new, but maintained very well. They accommodated our dog. (We had our breakfast in the great room, as dogs can not enter the room with the open buffet, which is understandable) The cows add to the rustic charm of it.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower very nice. The apartment has a very good balcony terrace with fantastic views of the mountains. The owner has many tips and is very friendly. We found the price very reasonable and Berchtesgaden a great place to explore the region. We really like the guest cards which you can use for discounts and free busses.

Room was reasonably good size with safe box. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Supermarket,pharmacy, bank and few restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Very good access to Berchtesgaden or other villages by bus or train. Nice shower and clean bathroom. The tourists card from the receptionist helped us a lot to get around as a free bus pass.
