The hotel is a short distance outside the city but the roads are good and well maintained. Breakfast was not included so we purchased items an a grocery store. The facility was very nice, clean and well maintained. We got our keys out of a key box to which we had been given the code over Whatsapp. The parking was available and we had no problems with that. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the comfortable beds and views. A nice kitchen and refer was available for our use, so that was nice.

One couldn't do better than a stay with this lovely family. Breakfast was outstanding and the accommodations perfect for our family. Adults enjoyed the spectacular scenery with a variety of beverages from the self-serve kitchen while the children were enchanted with the animals, outstanding playground, and variety of toys. Even our new puppy was pleased. Gemütlichkeit!

Gasthaus Elvira is located cost to buy connections and also with great views of mountains such as watzmann. Several hiking opportunities directly from the stay. Also good for short trip to Salzburg, Königsee etc. Breakfast was extensive and plentiful. Rooms were very cozy. Hosts make sure that we are happy and gave us hiking tips. I would recommend it again.

The rooms were large with lovely antique style furniture and the lounge areas for each floor was so nice to sit in and admire the views of the mountains. Don’t be put off by the road on one side of the hotel, when you are inside you can’t hear the road due to the quality of the windows. The hotel was also spotlessly clean, 2 mins drive from Berchtesgaden. Will definitely be staying here again when we visit the area.DonnaAustralia

Check-in was super easy and efficient which made the traveling process less stressful! This was not a problem, because the hostess helped me with this. It actual was very educational. After a long day of hiking and sightseeing, the outdoor pool was wonderful! The pool was totally covered when the weather was bad and could be opened when the weather was nice. The grounds were exceptionally taken care of with several seating areas.

The rooms were spotless. The mattresses were firm and the beds spacious. The bathroom was big and exceptionally clean. The Hotel as well as the rooms were not brand new, but maintained very well. They accommodated our dog. (We had our breakfast in the great room, as dogs can not enter the room with the open buffet, which is understandable) The cows add to the rustic charm of it.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower very nice. The apartment has a very good balcony terrace with fantastic views of the mountains. The owner has many tips and is very friendly. We found the price very reasonable and Berchtesgaden a great place to explore the region. We really like the guest cards which you can use for discounts and free busses.

Berchtesgaden was our favourite town we have ever been to. We were welcomed to the apartment with open arms, shown where everything was, and were given advice on local visits we wanted to do. We knew she would have been right there for us should we have needed anything. The apartment was extremely clean and we wished we could have stayed for longer.

The room was really nice too. Breakfast was great too. On the two nights that I stayed there, there was music outside in the restaurant, from 2 different brass bands playing German music. It was brilliant to listen to, and was a great atmosphere too. I loved it.
