Breakfast is included and it's absolutely delicious!
The staff is incredibly friendly and treat you like family.
Although we didn't utilize this service, they provide you with bus passes to get around town in - which is a nice perk!
They have a handful of different types of saunas which were super relaxing to go around and rotate in.
The pool is clean and great to cool off in after the saunas.

Bertchesgaden is just beautiful. There is so much to see and do. The Eagles Nest and Lake Konigssee were just spectacular. Public transport links are amazing and not too tricky to navigate. Hospitality in the area is fantastic, too. We will most definitely be returning.

So beautiful.
So beautiful. We go every year and always discover something new, be it a new walk or restaurant. Never get bored of the beauty and atmosphere. It is so easy to get around using the free bus transport with the Gästekarte. Nothing to avoid. All wonderful. Especially stunning this time of year with the Christmas market. Easy to visit Salzburg by bus or train too. Recommend visit to Bad Reichenhall too.

We visited Eagles nest.
We visited Eagles nest. Because the weather was misty, there was no five-star experience.
because the return bus service you must book for concretely time then we had much more time on top of the hill than we need it, but opposite was very instructive visit Naci’s museum close to the lower bus base.

Small town with good infrastructure in the center of a paradise.
Infinite hiking options.
Can manage with public transportation (bus) but it could significantly improve service for tourists - e.g. higher frequency in peak hours.

This place is like a fairy land.
This place is like a fairy land. Peaceful, scenic, and easy to reach by train. Our stay was clouded by the weather, but it did not deduct any beauty of this place. Wish we could understand German, which will make our visit of Salt Mine or boat ride more joyful.
Nice modern appartment in a historical location - although only a tour guide will tell you the details …
The appartment itself was spacy and felt brand new. it was spotlessly clean. The views were nice and it had a long balcony on two sides. unusualky for Germany it had a cooling system which kept it cool even at30*+ temperatures outside.
Breakfast was abive average and gluten free rolls were available when pre-ordered. The hotel’s Restaurant is nice and popular so make sure to book a table if you want to eat out.
It’s just five minutes walk from the station and you have a breathtaking scenery from the balcony. The staff were super friendly, informing us about the digital travel companion where we can travel around the town for free! Moreover, the reception staff also showed us a nice walking pathway for the stunning scenery of the town from lock-stein. Last but not least, the breakfast was superb! It has everything, resembling a 5 star hotel!!! We will definitely visit again in the coming September!
upon arrival to Hotel Bavaria we found that the hotel closed the week before. we just made our payment, in full, the week before yet it was closed. VERY unprofessional and I would highly NOT recommend this hotel. Booking.com will not process a refund for 7-12 days but they were more than eager to take our payment when the hotel was actually closed. So this recommendation is a zero for Hotel Bavaria and a zero for Booking.com.
The room and the hotel in general was extremely clean and the decoration very comfortable to be at, amazing views to the mountains and lots of parking spaces.
The breakfast is noteworthy for the quality and variety and the staff without exception was very friendly.
A short walk will take you to the center, but it is a couple of Kms down the road - that said, it is a very pleasant walk.
We enjoyed our stay here for one night - it felt like we were getting an authentic Berchtesgaden experience with beautiful painted doors and quaint interiors. The host was very friendly and everything was clean and comfortable. The furnishings were quite old but overall we really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel us private. It is situated not far from the city. The view from the room is breathtaking. There is a pool and sauna room. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit! Love the breakfast room. It is really lovely decorated.
Good size room with private balcony offering a great view of mountains. The hotel is way out of town but offers dinner as well as breakfast. The food was v. good and the staff friendly and attentive. Good walks nearby.
Excellent location nearby the train station where we can ride the bus to major sightseeing destinations, the breakfast is nice and a lot of variety of choices. We like also the restaurant in the hotel
It was an excellent stay! Olya was so helpful and gave great tips of where to visit. Hotel was clean with a nice spa area and a delicious breakfast! Look forward to the next visit. Highly recommend!
