Bad Lauterberg is a nice quiet mountain town. There are good restaurants and a cute downtown area for walking around. The trails by the river are really quite nice and there are a few lakes nearby that you can either walk or drive to.
The place is really located amazingly in the confluence of small town only 15 minutes away from supermarket (2-stops with bus) at the same time waking up to amazing view of the surrounding mountains from the balcony. My stay was excellent, the host was very welcoming and responded whenever I needed any help/information needless to say I would definitely love to visit Bad Lauterberg and this FeWo again sometime.
This house is situated on the edge of Bad Lauterberg. It's got all the amenities you could need: a large couch, big open doors to the garden. The garden is very nice, with a big lawn and a cosy nook with furniture to sit in the shade. In the kitchen you can cook on two electric hot plates. The village with supermarket and shops is nearby, 5 minutes by car. I spent two weeks here and had a good time.
The staff were excellent, I can speak German and was very nervous about communication but didn't have to. They went above and beyond to help me.
I would definitely recommend this hotel as it was spotless and had a really lovely view off our balcony.
Thank you for a great stay and will definitely book again

Everything was perfect! The room was clean, spacious and cosy, the food was excellent, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the wellness facilities (sauna and swimming pool) were AMAZING, and the free exercise classes and gym facilities were superb. I loved everything about my stay and am already planning to come back!
Central location in the heart of the small town.
The staff were extremely helpful during my stay.
Special shout-out to Madam Riemann who helped me get around town by providing a bicycle.
The breakfast and dinner were also very delicious.
Definitely recommended and totally enjoyed my stay here.
We really liked the location, parking was easy, we used the pool daily and the neighbours we encountered were very nice. Bad Lauterberg has a nice shopping street, a lift-car to the mountain top and good small restaurants. People at the Tourist Information Centre were very helpful.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was located on a hillside overlooking Bad Lauterberg. Access to the city center can be done by a short walk down the footpath to a bridge over to the city park. We really enjoyed the communal tv and reading rooms.
Nice privately-run B&B in Harz. We had a very good dinner and breakfast (can highly recommend). Rooms are not the most modern, but are very cozy. Especially, for this price.
