The room was decorated with love; free coffee, tea and fruit were available. Also with minibar and a fridge. Comfortable double bed, very quiet room. The bathroom was big enough, very clean and fully renovated. The breakfast was nice, the hard eggs were enveloped in a knitted cloth :D The staff was very friendly. We'll come again if there's an opportunity!

Breakfast was a wide and varied selection of healthy and freshly prepared foods which were constantly replenished by staff. To a German guest, I suppose this is a normal hotel breakfast. To my wife and I this was like. “Quality Food Nirvana”

This is the most modern apartment with all the electric gadgets and an amazing bathroom, shower sauna will have to go back. Contact with the owner was prompt and accommodating. Would have loved to spend more time.

Nice skiing region! The small town itself is also pretty and worth to visit. You can have a nice cheap breakfast downstairs in the corner.
I highly recommend to avoid rupturing your ligaments during skiing!🤣

We liked that everything was in walking distance.
We liked that everything was in walking distance. Plenty of restaurants, bakeries, ice cream / coffee shops, small town shopping facilities, museums, traditional crafts, twice a week farmers markets, theatre, street music, the famous Kate carnival was on whilst we were there. The town is lovely restored and has a lot of small town charm. You would have to plan your trip very well if you relay on public transport to explore the hinterland. It is doable but not too easy to get around the area without a car. A lot of things to do at the doorstep of Annaberg. Hiking, museums, Dresden or Prag would be a 2 hrs drive; you find certainly something to do for everyone of every age.

The quaintness, the genuine friendliness of the people + everyone was so helpful despite a language barrier. It was so relaxed everywhere, be the market square, cafes, retail stores, etc. We probably had at least a dozen instances of people extending a courtesy or assistance to us with something over our seven day stay.
The only downside was the awful construction going on at the train station and the only alternative to exiting and accessing the town is climbing a horribly steep gravel path + we arrived at dark and couldn’t even see the path because there was no lighting. However, a very kind German gentleman assisted us and half/way up the hill went and got his personal car and took us to the hotel.

Lovely flat but Annaberg-Buchholz not the most interesting place to stay in Saxony. Had a great meal at Zum Wilden Man restaurant. Had an interesting German language tour of a silver mine under the museum.

Great value for money in a beautiful mountain town. Good breakfast, super friendly and accommodating staff, enormous hotel room ('apartment') with plenty of storage space. I really appreciated the flexible mentality of the hotel staff (all from Czechia) who did their utmost to help think up good and affordable solutions to some of our questions. The hotel was at walking distance (up and down hilly paths) from many of Annaberg's facilities, including some great museums. We definitely want to come back again!
Large ultra clean perfectly sized room in an original old building in the centre of this beautiful town. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Excellent huge breakfast, restaurant serves interesting menu in an atmospheric superb wood panelled room with great service. Very cosy bar. Great hotel all round, but the outstanding feature was the friendliness of all the staff we met. Thanks

A nice and quiet hotel in a nice place with a very kind personnel. A very good breakfast and dinner (almost all restaurants on our way from Sinsheim have been closed - for me an excellent value for money.
Typical German breakfast with boiled egg. Parking on the street in front of the hotel. Quiet location close to the historic center of town. Fridge in the room.
