Lovely unit, very clean, comfortable and cosy. Newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen and has a hairdryer in bathroom. It actually looks better than in the photos. The room was pre heated, it felt so warm and welcomed when opening the door. Very comfortable bed, really needed after whole day ski. Not far from falls creek, about 30 min drive, better value than staying on the mountain.

Very pretty area but roads dangerous in the wet weather. We left the area early the next morning for Bright and could not get a coffee anywhere, all 4 places were packed and the info centre told us it was a 50 minute wait! Mount Beauty as the name suggests is a beautiful spot with stunning views of Victoria’s highest peak Mt Bogong . Falls creek is a 30km bike ride or drive up the mountain. Mt Beauty has a bakery , cafes , supermarket and pharmacy. It’s never too busy and you’re surrounded by lovely hills .

It was a comfortable place for a one-night stay, well appointed room, and quiet in the main. However, there was no sign, at any time of any staff and the reception was not attended at any time we were there. Mount Beauty is easy to get around, but quiet in the off-season. It seemed only one place was open for an evening meal - a bit of a walk from the motel.AlexAustralia

Staff are really friendly and discreet. Also, I took the opportunity to use the breakfast service this time around which was really convenient for me on my last morning. 10 mins walk to the pool and the supermarket and different restaurants/bars just a stone's throw away (the open ones change each day)
