Alpine Gables is in a great location across the road from the shopping centre. The apartment was clean and cosy, and the bed comfortable.
Reception was very helpful when I asked for a room with a bathtub.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Cabin was warm and close enough to the toilets to be reasonable - the possum was a great hit and just wanted more attention. Cheeky pos!
Cooking facilities were adequate and the room was clean and comfortable.

There are so many activities to experience during a Jiindabyne summer. Hiking is boundless, mountain biking is breath-taking, there are multiple craft breweries to visit and so many swimming spots along the lakefront. Hiring kayaks and fishing equipment is also possible but we ran out of time!!

I recommend staying at Jindabyne for the summer and winter seasons. The drive to Thredbo is a quick drive. The roads are cleared in snow season, we didn’t need to use the chains. Parking is easy and there’s free busses to the ski lifts. No need to stay in Thredbo. Jindabyne is much cheaper and has restaurants and the supermarket. I would never stay in Thredbo again. The supermarket is tiny and expensive in Thredbo. We stayed on the lake in a cabin which was perfect. We go for mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding in winter.

Jindabyne is a nice and quiet place to have a short break during the summer. The lake is good for water activities, and being positioned at the foot of the mountains means day trips to Thredbo and Perisher/Charlotte Pass is an easy run. There are plenty of places still open to eat and a full supermarket for any other needs. There are also other activities going on in Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains through the summer, so google to see what's on and when.

Jindabyne is like a poor cousin toQueenstown NZ.
Jindabyne is like a poor cousin toQueenstown NZ. Nothing much happens off-season, but it is picturesque and a great jumping off point to Kosciouszko National Park. There's a little coffee shop, Jindabyne F2, very good hot chocolate. But the brasserie at Banjo Patterson on the main drag was disappointing. And the carpark at Nugget's Crossing Shopping Centre is a nightmare.

It was a great place to stay although a warning when planning a trip for those on blood thinning medication, please factor in the altitude may have an effect on you!! It did for me with breathing and pressure on my body, although each person is unique and may be affected in different ways. You might not have any problems, just be aware of the possibility.
Beautiful views, great walking track around the lake and lovely sights of Thredbo and Perisher not far away.

It was a very scenic place. Good place for ski hire.
It was a very scenic place. Good place for ski hire. The only let down was the restaurants. They were too expensive like $28 for 10 pieces of pasta with only pasta. The Japanese restaurant need a booking to enter.
Location is central to everything in Jindabyne and a good base for snow activities, shopping, visitors centre, movies, dining etc. The foyer area with the fire is a great place to relax with a book and Joshua at reception was always friendly. Beds were comfortable and our loft room was nicely set out, if a little dated. The shower was lovely and warm, perfect after a day in the snow, and the central heating kept the room a comfortable temperature.
I stayed here for 16 days whilst snowboarding at Perisher.
Nice location, walking distance to the lake and Jindabyne town centre. The town is really cute and all the people are really friendly and great.
Efficient service & great communication by Raine & Horne Snowy Mountains real estate agents.
The landlord installed nbn which was nice to have wifi, Netflix and Stan.
This is a well located hotel in the older shopping area of Jindabyne where most of the ski hire and restaurants are. I had undercover parking - great since it poured with rain. Although this is a hotel with live music until late, my room was very quiet. The room was warm and the bed comfortable. Good, free WiFi. Guest laundry.
We enjoyed the place, it was small but cheap, so it was worth the money. When we booked, we thought that we had to share a toilet and kitchen, but the staff were too kind, they upgraded us freely to a room with a kitchen and toilet. We were pleased about it. Overall, the place exceeded our expectations.
Really nice and clean hotel, with very convenience location to some amazing restaurants nearby in the same block, and ski hire 3 mins walk away. Very close to the route up the snow. Highly recommend. Super friendly and helpful staff. Easy late check in and early check out options.
It was literally the cheapest place I could find to take my 2 kids to the snow for two nights. Otherwise...well Meh... the room was super toasty upon arrival, well done on that. Otherwise very basic but honestly, does the job.
The stay was excellent. Banjo staff was very friendly, including the in house restaurant staff. Beautiful view from the hotel balcony and the town centre was right next to Banjo. Will definitely stay here on my next visit.
Kookaburra Lodge is close to the centre of town... You do get what you pay for... Cheap and cheerful with breakfast (in my deal) thrown in... Definitely recommend if your looking for something on the cheaper side...
the location was pretty good. walking distance from everything. I like that the bungalow is separated from the rest of the apartments, made us feel like being noisy wasn't going to bother anyone.
The hotel is in a fantastic location in the hills just outside Jindabyne. The setting provides a beautiful view over the valley and lake. The huge lounge with log fire was warm and welcoming.
Completely serviceable set up for our ski-focused family. Comfortable loungeroom, good amount of kit in the kitchen, comfortable beds. Great location in the centre of Jindabyne.
The check-in and check-out procedures are very smooth. The location is great (though it's Jindabyne so everything is very close anyway). The room is pretty good too.
