Beautiful town with a lake that has stunning views. We also saw young children ski jump. Plenty of restaurants in and around the town. Only 7 mins drive to Gerardmer. The road from there to Colmar offers spectacular scenery.

Beautiful, magnificent lake but very, VERY busy during the main season in August. We had a hard time finding a spot to lie down at the lake. In the evenings, it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a spot in a restaurant or get anything to eat without a reservation - same for Gerardmer.

Great location at the heart of the Vosges region. Nearby in the summer are beautiful lakes, walks and views. In the winter a great location for skiing. You will need a car to get around, you can cycle but it is not ideal for amateurs as it is very hilly.

We stayed with our two year-old. Julie and Davy did everything to make all three of us most welcome. We spent a day on the stunning Voie Verte des Hautes Vosges, less than a half-hour drive away. Very convenient location for Gerardmer and all that the area has to offer. Also just 1.5 hours from Basel-Mulhouse Airport. I highly recommend this hotel.
