when returning to area, i would probably not stay in Vallorcine, but in either Chamonix (where all the action is) or even Argentière which has excellent Le Fournil Chamoniard Patisserie (come early, by noon all the great stuff is finished) and grocery store . I found we had to drive out of Vallorcine for everything

It will be a superb stay if you really love nature and love being far away from the city. The apartment is in a place called Valocrine “ 20 Minutes away from the center of chamonix “ hence, if you are planning to stay away from the busy city it would be really nice to book this apartment. But, if you are really planning to spend some time in chamonix then I would say no because the road is a bit dangerous at night !

The nature is very beautiful, with hiking trails starting right by the guest house. From the start it was a warm welcome by the son of the host. We immediately felt at home away from home. When asking for tips (eating, hiking, etc) Helen would always come up with a perfect plan. Not to mention the absolutely stunning breakfast, what a treat. Interior of the hotel, rooms, pool, sauna are very clean and in a good condition. Receptionist are very helpful, kind and polite. Even he helped us for early check in even if it was out of his working hours. Parking is easy, under the building secure parking area. We really enjoyed our stay.

This three-bedroom apartment was spacious enough for two adult couples, and the standard of cleanliness was good. We liked the baths in two of the bedrooms - unusual to get two in apartments like this. The apartment was very warm and quiet. The common areas of the building were clean, and the reception staff were very helpful.

Kitchen is equipped very well, there was everything we needed. The host was very nice. We didn't have any problems with the keys. Apartament is located very close to the ski lift. Near beautiful mountains. We would definitelly come here again.
