Very good resort with excellent choice of ski runs and plenty of lifts. Resort bus service is great. Long transfer from Geneva (3 hours drive) but worth it. Great choice of restaurants of very good quality, but eating out can be expensive.

Great location and epic view out over some of the runs at La Daille from our balcony. Apartment was cosy and comfortable, kitchen had all the cooking utensils and plates etc you'd need. Checking in was tricky as there is no reception but it got sorted pretty quickly. There is no common drying room for ski gear, so hang your ski clothing on the hooks in the apartment to dry. Handy supermarket located nearby and the shuttle bus is easy walking distance to take you to Val d'Isere. We stayed in the winter so the pool wasn't operating, but overall a delightful winter ski base.

bad situation as to reach it by car or train it s a nightmare . the roads are plenty of holes and the travel is too long. Also we have been in a restaurant fondue factory ski gallery : food awful and even not able to cook good pasta as i have been told it was a spaniard to cook italian meals !!!! the pasta was burnt and not al dente. The boss of the restaurant was very friendly and commercial and made some discounts after we told him what was going on.

Combining 3 mountains, Val d’isere is one of the top ski destinations in France. There are all type of slopes for any level of skiers/snowboarders prepared regularly. The number and the quality of the lifts is over the general standards of Europe (as I’ve been skiing over 40 years in numerous destinations in Europe) providing easy access between Val d’isere and Tignes.

Val d'Isere is an upscale Alpine French village -- English is widely spoken, there are many small restaurants/bars, tons of ski/board shops for purchase or rental, pharmacy/medical facility, walk to everhyting, extremely friendly to visitors.
The mountains, being among the highest in the Alps, retain good skiing, at altitude, for the entire ski season (the mountain closes May 1). During our visit, there were only a few feet of snow on the slopes (a low-snow year for the Alps), but the snow/skiing was excellent.
Being somewhat remote, the village tends to be less overcrowded, even on holidays/blue bird days, than places like Trois Vallees, Megeve, St. Anton ... Lots of hotels, chalets, BnBs ... Generally, a wonderful ski destination for Alpine snow lovers!
Location is very central, walking distance from the ski lift, best restaurants and shops.
Hotel is very nicely decorated, rooms are very cosy, comfy bed and bath tub.
Staff and concierge were very professional and helpful.
The Spa is quite enjoyable, with steam bath, 2 saunas, 2 jacuzzis and a pool.
Good international breakfast overall, with both sweet and savory options.
We would definitely stay again...
The location is superb, and the discount at the ski hire shop located underneath the hotel was warmly received.
Attentive staff who kindly sorted our ski passes on site; clean facilities, decent sized well-equipped bedroom and a fantastic steam room. The unique second floor swimming pool was a nice addition.
Overall good. Accross from La Daille ski lifts and a short (5 minute) bus journey to Val D’isere. Bus runs regularly every 5-10 minutes during the day and 10-15 at night. Hotel has all of the basics for a comfortable stay with all of the requirement amenities close by.
The apartment we stayed in at the hotel was spacious for our family of 5, comfortable and nicely decorated. Great location in the hotel, next to pool and sauna as well. Excellent breakfast that was included as well! Great location to hills and town restaurants.
The location of La Galise is perfect, within a minutes walk to the piste and very close to the heart of Val d'Isere, its shops, restaurants and ski hire locations. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the hotel is good value for money.
Loved breakfast and dinner but restaurant heating was so hot we couldnt sit in there long - they need to turn heating down !!
Great hotel with amazing staff - the bar is still the best place in the resort to kick back and relax
The breakfast was everything I needed and the choice was excellent. The location is very central for all amenities and for skiing. The room and bed were very comfortable and the hotel staff were helpful and accommodating.
A comfortable stylish hotel with astonishing views and fabulous food. The spa is super clean with good size pool and all the spa delights you’d expect plus it’s really great to have a hot tub and sauna out side as well.
Great hotel, great facilities, great breakfast and supper restaurant. Very comfortable bed and room. Highly recommend . Very caring team - well thought out hotel and decor. nothing too much trouble.
Bought a ski pass at reception. Breakfast excellent and plentiful. Staff friendly and fun. Comfortable bedroom, spa, useful ski/boot room, meets the requirements for a ski hotel. Slept like a log.
The location was honestly perfect- ski in ski out, close to ski hire, grocery stores restaurants and bars!! Accommodation is cozy but sleeps many people comfortable!! Really great place all round
The hotel is exceptionally clean & well decorated. The staff are warm & friendly. They are very accommodating and we loved the chauffeur service. The pool facilities are beautiful.
Unbelievable location right in the heart of the town and a 5min walk from the lifts .
