We went in spring which is outside of their main season so the town is quiet and peaceful but sure in season that it must be amazing. We found two restaurants open during our stay and they both had amazing good food & very friendly staff that could speak English.

The countryside in Valberg is beautiful and the little town...
The countryside in Valberg is beautiful and the little town is cool but during the time we were there only a portion of the restaurants were open and we only found a couple places with good food. There was lots of construction which made it impossible to relax and enjoy the area but I am sure once the construction is done it will be nice.

Valberg is a nice quiet and friendly village.
Valberg is a nice quiet and friendly village. There are lots of beautiful walks, hikes to do, one week is not enough to do them all. You can also do moutain biking, adventure park and trails. Valberg is also a good base if you want to do more adventurous / alpine hikes, such as Mont Mounier or Lac d'Allos. I loved the three altitude restaurants: Eguilles, La Croix du Sapet and Wapiti. It is also very child friendly. Activities for children are on every weeks. Therr is also a local market every Tuesday and Saturday. I particularly enjoyed the adventure park my little boy and I did the blue path.

Despite being a small area, the rooms and other facilities were nice for a family of 5 of all ages. Our room was very well located 0n a corner with a view over the centre of the town, light and sunny in the morning with a little terrace to sit out on despite the cold!

The parking place was convenient, ski storage was sufficient and the heating was decent. It is a sunny apartment with ok view - to the main street, and central place. The place is spacious enough for the three of us. We got a small starter pack with basic stuff, so we do not have to bring everything, which was welcome.
