I loved that the property was an 8 minute walk to the lift. Nearby a bakery that you could get food at. The breakfast at the hotel looked great but pricey if you don’t want to eat much. The decor was ski based which was nice. Not a far walk to the town.

Beautiful cabin ! Rooms are wonderful, quiet and clean with plenty of pillows, towels and bathrobe . We met some friendly guests at breakfast each morning, which was unique. Usually you don’t meet other guests but this environment enables you to be social if you want. Kitchen is well stocked and there is an extra fridge for guests to use. Breakfast was laid out beautifully as well. Coffee maker and tea is always available, as well as a bowl of fruit . staff is available via what’s app throughout the day, and present at breakfast.

Nice slopes. We had some that had artificial snow, but this will depend on the seasons. Red runs were very feasible. A few valleys and different resorts are interconnected. The skiing village has got limited entertainment but is very family friendly. Great view of the Mont Blanc!

In the winter, it is a great place for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities, as the slopes ranged from green to black, and span many many kilometres. The town itself is a small one, so will suit those travellers who are not looking for nightlife but enjoy peace and quiet instead. In terms of getting there, if you are travelling by public transport, plan your visit carefully. We ended up walking from and to the nearby Le Fayet town where St Gervais les Bains Le Fayet train station is location, but be mindful that getting from the train station involves quite a bit of an ascent up the hill, so not recommended for everyone but for those who like walking/don't have too much luggage. There are also local buses but do check their schedule in advance.

Nice town with a few nice places to eat and drink plus good bakeries and small well stocked supermarkets.
The Indian restaurant is really good and worth a visit even though just out of town.
Oh and the ski lift is easy to access with a regular electric bus picking up and dropping off.

The home is really beautiful with all of the amenities you could wish for. The open fire, the bath tub all lovely for a family stay.
Host was lovely and helpful greeting us on arrival. Throughout the stay she was available on message and was responsive to us. The beds were really comfortable, just note the last 2 single beds (in the triple room) are in the eaves which for our grown children was a challenge - also a few cobwebs which we removed ourselves. The hot tub was beautifully positioned to sit and view the snow capped mountains - the only problem was the temperature. We have our own tub on about 37 - 38 degrees which is nice. This tub was only ever on 26 to 34 so we got cold quickly which was a shame. Plenty of boardgames. Not far up to Bettex skilift or down to St Gervais - the latter was easier as the lift was less walking in ski gear to get into the cable car! All in all a lovely stay and we will visit again.

A very unique house situated alone on the hill side. In the old mountain style but completly renovated with central heating, electricity, showers, wood-fired sauna etc. You can feel that this is a private and very beloved house (and not the typical 'airbnb'-rent with anonymous hotel-style interiors). Wifi included (it's not listed in the ad). Fun ride with the ski doo to the house (we were there in ski season). Nice, undisturbed terrasse with big table and grill. Then you don't need the noisy lunch places on the pistes :-)
Staff was absolutely fantastic! Very kind and helpful. I had an early bus out of the Le Fayet train station, so this was the perfect location for me - less than 5 min walking distance. I thought breakfast was a good value: $13 USD for a typical European spread including coffee, juice, and scrambled eggs. I paid $190 to stay in a 4-person room (it was the only one available when I booked last minute), so that works out to $47.50/person, which seems very reasonable. Overall, this was a great option for me!
Friendly staff, great location in Town, minutes from all local bars and restaurants.
Rooms a little dated but clean and tidy, with daily room service and fresh towels if requested.
Some rooms (14&15) are external to the hotel but this was not a problem for us. Several sets of steps to these rooms, so maybe difficult for those with mobility problems.
Breakfast was good for continental style. Rather small number of seats/tables, so a little busy with skiing groups all heading out at same time.
The first thing to say is how welcoming and lovely the hosts are.
The rooms are clean with balconies, comfortable beds, loads of hot water (really important after a day's skiing) and a lovely little bar. There is also a very good choice in the buffet breakfast.
If you are skiing they have a room to leave your skis and boots overnight.
Although Le Fayet is small, there are a number of good places to eat within a couple of hundred metres, not least the one just across the road.
The hotel is excellent. Not only is it clean, but also stylish, thoughtfully designed. Modern facilities within an alpine designed building. Breathtaking views of Mont Blanc from our balcony. Service couldn’t have been better. The most comfortable sleep of our holiday, which included three different hotels. We didn’t have time to see Saint Gervais les Bains itself because spent the day in Chamonix but seems like a fun town with lots to do.
Large comfortable apartment with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. Located just off the Bettex lift, made for easy back and forth for skiing. Huge parking lot shared with the lift but we had little issue finding parking at any time of the day. Master bed was big enough and comfortable and plenty of showers for our family. Happy to have a dishwasher and laundry washer! Walking distance to the center of town.
Hotel facilities were excellent, the breakfast range on offer was fine. The only small issue occurred when there was no hot water on one of the days due to a boiler issue affecting whole hotel. This was resolved but was a little inconvenient after a busy day on the slopes.
Also I think the Spa could extend its hours for children to access pool as it is quite limited.
Very modern, clean hotel geared for ski industry. It is 10 minutes walk to the train. A good location when bad weather arrives if you are walking in the mountains. There are plenty of options to get around the various valleys to pick up a trail.
I booked a dorm bed and they decided at my age they would put me in a single room with shared bathroom.
Everything about this hotel is exceptional - the staff were kind, warm and provided a fantastic seamless service making everything easy without a bother. I’ve never experienced anything like it. The food was also exceptional.. at both the hotel main restaurant and the bistro. The spa was wonderful and the room was comfortable.
The apartment is close to the centre of St Gervais. We arrived by bus from Le Fayet train station and it was a short walk uphill. It is easy to get to the telecabine on the shuttle bus (though it would be hard to walk up the hill in ski boots). The apartment has a good set of kitchen equipment. It was very quiet.
The location and the price for money both are amazing. The property is located less than 2 minutes from the nearest ski bus stop. The kitchen was also equipped with everything needed for a short stay: microwave-oven, stove, fridge, cutlery, pans, pots and plates.
The hotel manager was excellent, he looked after us from arrival to departure. Shared his local knowledge of the food and drinks, which we enjoyed, to booking a table for us at an excellent restaurant he recommended. I would definitely return.
I loved the familial atmosphere and authentic look of the hotel. The room was spotless clean, and the owners were very welcoming. The hotel is perfectly located and it's easy to get to the ski lift from there!
Perfect location, very close to the railway station and to the Mont Blanc tramway's departure point. Great view from the balcony, comfy beds and huge shower room. Great value, I totally recommend.
Awesome place! No swimming pool during the winter, but everything else was top notch. Amazing view, location couldn’t be better for skiing, the host was extremely helpful all the way through.
Lovely, basic hotel with close free Navette bus to main télécabine ski transport. Owners extremely nice and accommodating, breakfast for 9euros worth every cent.
I would come back!!!
