As we were doing a road trip through Italy and Switzerland then into France pontalier was a ideal place for a stopover. Its directly on our route and everything is there for what you would need. We even had a 3 course meal and wine at the supermarket which was within walking distance

Coming from Switzerland Pontarlier is the next city with infrastructure. It really is a charming city with a lot of possibilities to spend not only an evening. Especially for children there are many exciting venues and a lot of things to explore.

The rooms were stunning, spacious and beautifully designed and decorated - there was a lovely energy to whole place that made you feel relaxed and at home. Arielle is a wonderful host and it was such a pleasure to meet and to talk with her. Breakfast was superb. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in this part of France again.
