It was great - we were there to ski - so I loved the fact it was cheap compared to the other valleys but it was easy to ski in other valleys using the new fast ski lift. However despite the fact the accommodation was competitively priced we still spent our normal budget because we had extra cash to spend on coffees and meals on the slopes

Orelle is a small quiet village from which one can take the ski lift to Val Thoren, via Cime Caron. It takes 8 minutes by car to reach the train station, the petrol station and a carrefour store. In Orelle itself there is a convenience store, a post officeEstelleg71Bulgaria - 8.0Scored 8.0

Orelle is absolutely perfect if you are happy with a small town with not much in it-with the added bonus of (probably) very cheap accommodation and a super speedy lift into the 3 valleys. There is a slightly bigger town about 5k away with most the amenities you need, but obviously you'll need a car. Its VERY quiet and there is NO nightlife. Which was fine for me....
