A quiet town with some nice shops (a good Vinotheque, Librairie, Boulangerie) and a nice church, lovely views of hills, a good point to explore Alsace further. Orbey is nothing special but many villages nearby are really great to visit. Just a few km away are Kaysersberg, Colmar, Riquewihr, Eguisheim which are all totally worth visiting. Staying in Orbey allows you to stay away from the crowd yet close to all great tourist locations.

The room was spacious and nice and cool on arrival (middle of a heat wave), reception was welcoming - a plus was secure place to leave our bikes. The pool was wonderful and also appreciated was supply of dressing gowns to wear to the pool. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. And choice of wine (dinner) was exceptional and very reasonably priced. I hope to come again!

Room was basic but very clean and a nice view through the window. Shower and toilet were 100% clean and hygienic. Rarely seen in hotels, even in higher classes. Good restaurant and breakfast. A lot of regional and homemade products. The foie gras was top.

Breakfast was prepared with love and included many home-made items. Orbey is a lot less touristy than Kaysersberg and other famous towns and villages in the area. The house has nice balconies and a backyard, where you can relax if the weather is good.
