Morzine is great for travel from UK for a short break as it is so close to Geneva. It's a lovely village with plenty of places to eat and drink, shops and things to do.
Resort is low so in a poor snow year you have to ski in Avoriaz, accessible by bus or the Super Morzine lift. The ski area is very large.

Morzine is a lovely town with plenty of bars and restaurants and shops, you do have to pre book the really popular restaurants though, as they do get really busy. The snow wasnt great in Morzine when we were there but really easy to get a bus to Avoriaz or the Super Morzine up and then a chair gets you to Avoriaz where the snow was amazing!

Morzine is a beautiful town.
Morzine is a beautiful town. It is only 1h:30 from Geneva so very accessible. The ski area in Morzine and Les Gets is extensive and offers plenty of variety for a full week. The only challenge is the snow. It is reasonably low and it can rain on the lower slopes. During school holidays the queues on the lifts around Morzine and Les Get can be long (up to 30 minutes). We were late picking up our daughter from ski school as a result. If you are not with young kids you can also head up to Avoriaz and the wider Port du Soleil.
Food-wise, I can recommend La Flamme, Le Grange, Le Grillon and Le Vaffieau.
I'd recommend using Easy2ride over ESF.

Morzine is an older, year-round village, not just a purpose-...
Morzine is an older, year-round village, not just a purpose-built ski resort, so has a good range of restaurants, cafes and shops and a variety of accommodation. The Bec Jaune micro-brewery/restaurant and L'Etale were both excellent places for a meal and helpful in accommodating a couple who hadn't booked in advance. The ski area is pretty, particularly the runs through the trees. There is obviously some excellent off-piste terrain. However, the resort is low (1000m) so snow conditions are always going to be a worry, as on this occasion when there was only mediocre on-piste skiing to be had. Would visit again, but only with a last-minute booking once I was sure conditions would be good during my stay.

We loved our time in Morzine. We were there to ski.
We loved our time in Morzine. We were there to ski. The snow wasn't great when we visited. Nonetheless we had enjoyed the skiing, with plenty of variety on the slopes to suit all abilities. We thought Morzine itself was very picturesque and had plenty of nice restaurants. We plan on returning

Morzine is a family ski resort.
Morzine is a family ski resort. Maybe not enough night life for youngsters. It links with Les Gets and the whole Avoriaz area (Porte de Soleil), so a huge variety of skiing available. Lots of restaurants and bars available. Free buses around the town and surrounding areas to the lifts. I feel really at home there.
The booking was straightforward from the beginning , Tom and Laura were extremely helpful with all questions and very responsive . instructions on how to enter the Chalet were clear and easy
the property was everything advertised and more
location is fantastic and the property itself as clean as it is beautiful.
warm and comfortable with easy access to town , events and lifts
next time I go to Morzine I will be staying at chalet moose without even a single consideration of anywhere else .
thanks for having us
Had the most brilliant stay at Julianna. Amandine and Arnol are the dream hosts - the fresh baguettes and pastries each morning are such a treat, and the lifts to and from the ski lifts are a game changer. The apartment was a great space too - a brilliantly equipped kitchen and a perfect set up for fun evenings after a long day skiing. We’ll be recommending this place to any friends who are considering a trip to Morzine and would definitely stay here again! Thanks again for such a brilliant holiday.
A lovely, family feel hotel right in the middle of Morzine. Although small, rooms were very comfortable and clean. Plenty of choices for breakfast every morning. Easy access to boot and ski room. A great bar area which enabled you to meet others from the hotel. Cedric was amazing, nothing too much trouble for him and always on hand to help and go the extra mile to make your holiday even more special. Francoise was the perfect host; friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.
The apartment itself is fantastic. Spacious, modern and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent. Location was ideal - we were a group with small children and it is very close to the ESF children's ski school. It is also very close to the Pleney lift and although this was closed, there is a little train that you hop on to get to the Super Morzine. Our host was excellent and responded to questions and any small issues that needed dealing with.
We stayed for 4 nights in this exquisite, well-located chalet/apartment in the heart of Morzine. the apartment was immaculate and the agents were extremely helpful in preparing everything for our stay (including ski passes and ski equipment). The apartment offers easy access to all of Morzine’s restaurants and nightlife and is a c. 5 min walk from the super Morzine lift giving access to Avoriaz and the Swiss alps. Highly recommended!
Warm friendly welcome with great information straight away. Comfortable rooms, nice spa, great location 50m from shuttle to Prodains to Avoriaz and always got a seat as first stop in Morning. Walking distance for Morzine skiing lift if earlier in the saeson with snow. Easy walk to town for bars, restaurants and shops. Lovely breakfast and really nice bar area too. Highly recommend.
We stayed here August 16-24 2022 for a downhill bike vacation. Practically brand new hotel. Location 2-5 minutes walk from the canter and ski/bike lifts. Friendly attentive stuff. Owner/manager Jon was always on site to help with ANY matter.
In-hotel restaurant serves quality food.
Overall experience well worth the price. Great vibe. Looks better in life than the photos.
The room was very clean, cosy and comfortable.
The breakfast was delicious and there was great variery of food.
The staff was very friendly and willing to help and make our stay a memorable experience.
The sauna was great and relaxing after a whole day of skiing.
The location of the hotel was ideal for going to the lifts and going out for walks in the Morzine.
Super kind and friendly staff (all including receptionist, spa, drivers, restaurant servers and others), very convenient in/out to ski telecabin with the free shuttle service, great breakfast and dinner, amazing spa and sauna facility, and the room also had a nice bathtub as well. I really enjoyed my stay overall. The view was very nice from the room as well.
The hotel was spotlessly clean, facilities were perfect for a family, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very generous and the room itself was beautiful - nice separate space for the kids and a balcony with a view over Morzine.
Beautifully presented hotel with gorgeous spa and pool. A short walk from town but bus stop opposite (2 stops to super Morzine lift) and quiet end of town. Restaurant offered good food and buffet breakfast offered a good selection.
Really nice apartment in great location in Morzine. The place is really well furnished and kitted out with modern appliances with everything you could need. It is very spacious with an outside patio and ski locker room downstairs.
Super little hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Lift to and from the ski lifts every day and went out of their way to help repeatedly. Definitely recommended for a great value enjoyable stay in Morzine!
wonderful staff, delicious breakfast and dinner, top location (right next to kids’ ski school and the ski lift, lots of rental options and restaurants), amazing spa and pool, everything you want from an Alpine hotel
The hotel is very special. The view from the balcony is breathing, the restaurant was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. The shower and bed was the best!
Good location, walking distance from the Pleney skilift and the centre of Morzine. Excellent buffet breakfast in the morning. Covered parking underneath the hotel.
Hosts are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast it’s excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and warm. The Chalet is very nice and the location is great.
