Wonderful location, near Samoens centre but very quiet. Owners and staff immensely friendly and helpful, wonderful food and very homely / cosy....the bedrooms too. Nothing at all negative about this hotel.

Courteous and helpful staff, the pools and tennis court, how close it is to the city center and attractions.

We love Morrillon, but it seems to have become less popular and a little run down. There were no places open for food in the evening at all, which was very disappointing, Really just the pub open, but even then, very few drinkers - and this is mid season. The whole place felt completely dead after 5pm. However, they had done a very good job in keeping the slopes open as there was no naturl snow below 1500m It is still good skiing. Tip: use Sport 200 for your ski equipment.

Morillon and the surrounding villages are beautiful and peaceful places to visit for being in nature and enjoying fresh mountain air. I would not recommend trying to eat out or have a drink in one of the restaurants, as it can be a frustrating experience. They seem to have only a few open, and most were already full at 7:30, or were closed mid-week when we were there. Even ordering a pizza for takeaway was nearly impossible, as it had an hour long ETA. Best bet is to book a self-catering place to stay so you can cook a hot meal for yourselves. The Super U in nearby Taninges is a good place to shop.

I sent a complaint to Residence Odaly in Paris about our experience with their safety procedures (concerning a water leakage during the night). But I still haven’t heard from them. I find their safety procedures very critical and I will never recommend this accommodation to anyone before I have been reassured about their new safety procedures. I absolutely need an excuse and a serious compensation for our bad experience.

Pleasant little town, with everything in easy reach - gondola, grocery, pharmacy, supermarket (on main road to Samoens). There's a lovely blue lake where we took pizza and wine for dinner. Next to this is a fantastic adventure trail amongst the trees - Boy (13) had a great couple of hours.

If you do not have a car then there is a lack of supermarkets and restaurants. Buses finish early so only option then is a taxi.
Nice village but was just a bit small for us.
Did have a good bakery though.
Lovely little apartment clean and tidy with ample hot water.
Good kitchen facilities including oven, microwave, electric hob x4, fridge and dishwasher.
Really well located for the Morillon Telecabine, just a short walk away.
Excellent communication with Dorine, with Gregory to meet us with the keys.
There is no wifi, which is both a good and not so good thing!
Dedicated car space.
It was nice to find a 2 bedroom apartment for a good price. It was spacious, comfortable and a good location for the centre of Morillon. We'd use again if visiting Morillon.
There is a ski bus stop outside the apartment, or if you don't fancy walking approximately half a mile to the ski lift, take the car. We quite liked parking at Samoens.
Centre of town, parking directly outside, no stairs to entrance.
Close to bottom of Morillon Gondola (about 500m), but car drop off spot there and parking beside gondola.
Ski hire opposite and boulangerie 100m up the road.
Actually has 6 beds (advertised as 5).
Ski locker with boot rack for 5 sets of boots in apartment.
This is a lovely chambre d'hote, very well run by Natalie, very close to main lift out of Morillon and ski rental.
Excellent breakfast with boiled eggs and cereals.
Very good evening meals, all those we had (4 nights) were Savoyard specialities, so good, tasty, robust food, just right after a day's skiing
Great location close to the ski lift and super market. Cosy and warm appartment, very well equipped, good shower, and nice furniture. Not very big (like all ski apartments in France) but large enough for our family of 4; it actually felt quite spacious due very efficient use of space.
Big and comfy room, nicely decorated, bathroom with a big bath tube. There was also a jacuzzi outside, but we didn't try it cause we didn't have the swimsuits. Hosts were extremely welcoming and attentive. Literally 2 minutes of car from the main ski cabin of Morillon
Host Dave is amazing and friendly. Apartment is nicely located in the village of Morillon (valley, not on the mountain). However, there is an opportunity to store your ski and snowboard gear at a rental locker on the mountain in high-Morillon.
The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable, ideal for 2 adults (or a small/young family). The location is very close to the Morillon gondola with other lifts in reach by bus or car. Samoëns is also just a short drive/bus away.
