Megève is one of the highest class resorts in the alps and so is a great experience but you don't have to spend a lot to enjoy. The main pedestrian street is great fun to explore. It has truly unique shops and world class galleries and the people watching is most interesting.

Megeve would be a different experience if the snow had arrived in time for our ski trip. As it was, we left half a day early to reach our second destination in Meribel. Meribel's slopes are higher up so they had more snow. Megeve feels like a lovely "locals" spot...plenty of fun runs for all levels if there was more snow on the ground. But you could literally spend an entire week at Les 3 Vallees, just an hour away. The town of Megeve was more charming than Meribel if I had to choose a "charming award"...with it's cobblestone streets and horsedrawn carriages....beautiful shops and outdoor space for food/drink...it's very picturesque. The more energetic apres ski scene is at Meribel...Le Folie Deuce, etc. The food at Nano Cafe was exceptional for lunch in Megeve! And the fun scene at Le Ferme Saint Amour was special...not everyone was in sequins and heels, like they suggest, however. And the entertainment at the early seating was mild, unlike their more festive marketing shots on IG for the restaurant. Service there was wonderful, but it was a spendy meal for the mild entertainment vs our expectations. Perhaps the later seating is different, but with teens we were not offered that option. Just something to note. Hotel lobbies are a great destination for drinks...M Hotel and Park Lodge especially.

Megeve is too expensive, but it's clear that they try to be high-end tourist town. We were there for the Tour de France so we didn't spend much time in the town. I think it has plenty of options also for the winter (skiing).

Once I have checked in the receptionist was pleasant but somewhat confused. I have asked for slippers and bath robe but she answered that I had the lowest entry and it was not possible. Since the hotel was not complete I have told her that I'm a Genius level with Booking to what she replied that she did not what I was talking about and that she will see it with the Manager. Obviously it never happened...These types of little courtesies would really help as while one is constantly being reminded how great are the advantages booking via Booking is is not what it seems to be.
- upon arrival I was welcomed very friendly and the staff assisted me with parking and luggage transport to my room
- the hotel has a warm atmosphere, lots of wood and decorations
- the hotel has a restaurant and this is one of the best restaurants I have ever experienced in a hotel. food was consistent high quality and good value for money. service was very friendly.
- the hotel is 50 meters from the skiing lift
- the hotel is in the middle of Megeve, easy to walk to the shops in the centre
- I was able to park my car at the hotel
Very cozy apartment ideal to spend some relaxing time near the mountains. Apartment was very tidy and clean and had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Host was very helpful and provided all the information needed without the need for me to request. There is a bus 3/4 min away from the apartment that leaves you across the road from the ski slopes, flat is 15 min walk from Megeve centre so there is no need to have a car
The location was really close to the center of Megeve. Hotel personal were really kind and welcoming. After our ski accident, they helped us and found another room without stairs. They were really interested in guests’ wellbeing. Breakfast was also nice. Extra options like omelets were available. We recommend getting some drinks in the lobby in front of the fireplace. We recommend this hotel and we would come again!
The breakfast was ok - not as good as some hotels we have stayed at.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - we had a problem with the electrics tripping while we were there and they reimbursed us one night for inconvenience but were apologetic and did their level best to get it fixed.
The shuttle service to and from ski stops was excellent.
Had the feel of a bed & breakfast with very friendly staFF nd large choice at breakfast; fire in the fireplace made the large reception more like a living room. A classic 3 star hotel. Location is 1.3 km from Rochebrun Téléphérique; all shuttle busses leave 3 min away for those not wanting to walk. restaurants 5-10 min walk.
Our stay at this modern and comfortable Hotel Megève in Switzerland was absolutely fantastic! The combination of style and comfort made our visit truly special. The attention to detail and excellent service exceeded our expectations.
Huge thanks to all staff for their welcomnes!!!
I like the kindness of the personnel, the accessibility (parking + elevator). I liked the good price for such a station, that was cheap compare to other hotel. I liked the view from the restaurant and the breakfast (even if the breakfast was expensive for what it was !!! 14€????)
The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of various appliances and amenities to make the stay enjoyable. It's located in a very calm and quiet neighborhood, only a few kilometers away from the centre of Megeve. Communication with the host was very quick and easy.
The apartment is lovely, it is very clean and has everything needed for a comfortable family ski trip.
The location is fantastic a few minutes walk to the gondola on a pedestrian street, right in the middle of the town
The host was very good with communication
The apartment is well equipped. Comfortable ski storage room and in-doors parking. The apartment is well modern designed. High-end TV set. Spacious heated bathroom , two balconies, and everything you need for comfortable luxury staying.
Highly recommended .
Hotel Les Cimes was a brilliant place to stay in Megève. Michelle and Adam were welcoming hosts, giving us lots of tips for the best places to ski/eat. The location was ideal in the town for getting to the lifts. We'd highly recommend staying here in Megève.
The location was superb and the shuttle bus running constantly into town (5 mins) and to the ski area (5 mins).
The snack bar area was extremely cosy and welcoming and we liked hanging out there.
The view from the hotel is stunning.
