The hotel is a beautiful wooden building that stands apart from the neighboring houses. Inside, the lobby, bar and restaurant are cozy and warm, good to be at in the winter/spring. The ski shop is really handy (the goggles I bought there were great, and the ski gear was pretty good for a beginner), and so are the bus stops just outside the hotel, so if you are going on a ski trip, RockyPop offers really good value for money.

The welcome and friendliness were exceptional and so was the view. We arrived early and were accommodated without fuss. The restaurant was closed but we were directed to a very good place in the village 15 minutes away on foot. We were concerned about noise from the highway at night but that was not a problem and I am a very light sleeper.

The view from the hotel room was great. The shower had good water pressure and the beds were comfy. The restaurant in the hotel is quite affordable and offers good food. Service desk was great and the ski storage area is particularly useful. The addition of a spa comes in handy after a long day on the slopes.

Very nice area with beautiful mountain views, right under the famous Mont Blanc, easy to access quite a lot of ski lifts taking you up to the ski slopes. Very high level professional ski slopes
Les Houches' downside is their council operated facilities have arrogant staff (not including the cashier staff who are very nice). Ski slopes sign posts are very very badly done and very unclear. Maps are not nicely done not clear.

I never been treated so bad by a receptionist like in this...
I never been treated so bad by a receptionist like in this hotel. I called in the afternoon trying to find out how to get there from a sports event I was attend in Chamonix, and besides saying that this was not her problem, she turned the phone off on my face. I walked for 1h20 with my bags in the middle of the night to get there. Next day I explained the reason I could not stay the 2nd night, and she prompt said she would refund me. After quite few emails and now answer, I left a review here explaining other people that if you dont have a car, its impossible to reach the place (but they do not mention this on the hotel description). So today I called the hotel to follow up about my refund and the lady she screamed at me on the phone. She said because of my review, she would not refund. And again, that was my problem how I would get to the hotel. She turned the phone off on my face again. Never had such treatment in years booking hotels for my sports events.
I would like to let everyone knows about this situation, so no one can be fooled like I was.

Great place for all the family to ski together from the oldest in our group at 64 to the youngest at 6. All our kids and grandkids have learned to ski here, with a variety of slopes and challenges for everyone. We like the Kitch Inn restaurant in the village amongst others.
Been coming here for the last 15 yrs

Les Houches is a great little ski area.
Les Houches is a great little ski area. It may not have the long runs of some resorts but we enjoyed all it had and enjoyed not having to queue for lifts. We actually had a full week of sunshine - which always helps, but is not able to be controlled.
The Zodiak loft is an amazing place to stay for a large group like ours. We were two families with 2 kids each. The loft was very spacious and accommodated all of us with a room to spare. There were 2 free parking spots for each family. The loft is in a small but super cute village about 9-10 min drive from Chamonix. There is a bakery just downstairs and a pharmacy and grocery store just across the street. The host was very responsive. We will most certainly book the loft again. Thank you!
The chalet is right along the ski trail for Les Houches. If the weather had been normal, we could have skied in and out of of the front door! There are multiple ski rental companies right down the hill from the chalet in Le Prarion. There was tons of hot water!!! The pool (once we tracked down the correct code) was great for the kiddos. The chalet was cozy and the views out the living room window are incredible.
The studio is in a great location. Very central for us. Directly across the road from the main ski lift. Ski hire shop next door. Also cafe/bakery next door for fresh bread in mornings, and for a beer or vin chaud after skiing all day. Car parking on site and ski locker on ground floor. Everything we needed.
Les Houches has some nice restaurants - can recommend trying Raclette at La Ferme Des Agapes.
One of the best chalet we’ve ever been for our winter holidays. Modern, clean, very comfy, warm and with a huge windows with amazing view! Very well equipped, you can find everything there from JBL speaker to different spices in the kitchen to use. Everything we needed was there. Area around is quiet but we loved it, good for walks and Chamonix is very close. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you
Chalet had plenty of space and has potential to be a great spot if it's maintained properly. The views of the mountains were awesome and it's easy to walk into town and access restaurants, supermarket, etc. Train into chamonix was great and also easy to get to. Facilities in the chalet were good and we were comfortable with 3 adults and a couple of kids
Great value but very clean and well presented with attractive decor and a relaxed atmosphere. Food, including a varied breakfast, was excellent. Bar staff friendly with a good wine selection. They also had 6 Nations rugby on at the weekend! Easily walkable to the main lift for Les Houches, ski hire shops and the bars/restaurants of the village.
Location was very central to Les Houches and Chamonix (just 6 mins in car), the Chalet is very well equipped and stocked, living area is fantastic and very social. Host and family are always on hand should you need anything. Highly recommend.
If you visit Les Houches then you have to visit this lovely hostel, the receptionist lady was very kind and helpful, even remembered me when i came back again, all staff members were very kind also, thank you.
Everything! The location is amazing! The small town has Skilifts 200 m from the hotel! The check in was smooth! There was a huge box of chocolate as a welcoming present! Loved our stay!
Gorgeous apartment in a pretty good location in Les Houches. Mostly modern furnishings, roomy, and comfortable, outfitted with three (!) quite large balconies.
