Everything was within a walkable distance. Like everyone said, the breakfast was excellent and the staff was so kind and helpful. Also my unit (family room) had a washing machine, and that was a nice surprise.

the position is just a bit outside from city center. you can easily walk but there's also a bus station in front. for me was perfect,was close to trails and there's a small lake where you can enjoy a good view

My room (number 104) was on the first floor (American 2nd floor) with 3 sets of windows that had an awesome view but no balcony.
Never stayed in a Relais & Chateau property before, so admittedly, it's impressive.
This room had no tub but was well appointed with very comfortable bed and bath, walk-in shower.
Easy walking into Chamonix town.
