The staff are exceptional--Catherine and Jimmy make an excellent team managing the property. They are kind, helpful and resourceful. The location of the property is excellent and breakfast was delicious.

First, the staff was SOOOO helpful and welcoming. The location was amazing - we literally skied down to the lift and then right back to the hotel at the end of the day. There are 5 different "neighborhoods" to stay in at Tinges. This is the top neighborhood, and closest to the funicular that takes you to the tippy top. It is an active neighborhood that has fun bars and nightclubs. I would highly recommend it. Breakfast was lovely. There were a ton of restaurants nearby that provided a ton of different options.

Le Refuge is located in Tignes, in the northern French Alps, 164 feet from the ski elevator. It has spa facilities and massages.

Mary and Stéphane were so welcoming and kind from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The hotel is conveniently located in the Le Fornet area of Val d'Isère, a quick free bus ride from the centre of town. You can also access the slopes from the nearby Gondola. The hotel was very clean and the room comfortable and had everything we needed. We used the Spa one day and enjoyed the Hot tub and Sauna. Stéphane made lovely omelettes for breakfast and there was a good choice of cereals and fruit juices.
