I stayed at a lovely Sanset Chalet in the Pyrenees for two days, and it was fantastic! The location was great, close to Gavernie, and the patio offered stunning views. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the chalet felt cozy. The nearby walks were beautiful, with serene and breathtaking scenery. It's a great place to rest, recover and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Highly recommend it!

Traveling in the shoulder season when mountain resort towns are closing down, it was a treat to have a kitchenette. The hotel is in center of town with free parking all around. The staff was friendly, kind and extremely professional.
Located in the historic heart of the mountain village of Luz-Saint-Sauveur, this hotel close to shops and restaurants.

Appreciated the local, rustic, warm interior decoration and the casual and friendly reception by all the staff. Breakfast was very good (coffee, breads, yogurt, fruit, preserves, eggs, etc) and liked location close to restaurants and shops and views of the mountains. It was extra special to be there during a festival weekend to experience the local appreciation for their customs, their community joy in celebration, the music, the food, etc. It was great being so close to Nature and all the sport (hiking, biking) and just being in such a gorgeous environment.
The location was stunning and our room had a small balcony with a view toward Cirque de Gavarnie. The room was clean and bright and the bed comfortable. The host Katrina and her staff were all friendly and very helpful. Some English was spoken. Katrina offered advice on the area and routes to see the Gavarnie Falls and advised on other places to visit in the area. Katrina also provided a lovely traditional evening meal for guests.
Chez Sanyou is situated a short walk from the centre of Gavarnie. Our room was large and comfortable, and the elevated position meant that we had lovely views of the Cirque. Breakfasts were simple but filling and tasty, and facilities were available to bring our own food in for other meals. The hosts were some of the kindest and most patient we've met, and Nina, the dog, was a delight.
Gavarnie is perfect location for hiking. I loved everything about this apartment. Very comfortable, new, clean and well equipped. Terrace has a stunning mountain view. Host was responding promptly to my queries and he very considerate (I appreciated little things, for example dishwasher tablets were provided). I would love to stay there again in the future :)
It was self-catering. The location in the centre of the wonderful village of Gavarnie was perfect. The village shop with adequate supplies was no more than a two minute walk away. There was a balcony with chairs, a table and a bit of a mountain view. The low-level bed was OK. The other, small bedroom has two bunk beds which are fairly small.
Our bedroom had a breathtaking view of the Cirque de Gavarnie. We were treated to the same view while eating hearty breakfasts in the breakfast parlor. Excellent advice for hikes and rainy day activities. Extra walking sticks were available. And what can one say about the beautiful Pyrenees -we had a wonderful hiking vacation.
Beautiful building, unbeatable views of Gavarnie. Lydia was an amazing host, very thoughtful and kind. She is knowledgeable about various hikes and eager to share. We lost a wallet on our stay and she went above and beyond trying to help locate it by calling restaurants and the tourist center. Highly recommend this property!
Very friendly and helpful staff. We were well looked after, particularly regarding the loan of an ice-pack to ease a troublesome back problem plus walking poles to aid a lovely walk to the Cirque de Gavarnie. Great views of the Cirque from the front of the hotel. Safe parking for our motorcycle.
The hotel was lovely, in a great position with the ability to hear the sounds of the river. The hotelier was a lovely lady with great banter who instantly made me feel welcomed. As a solo traveller, at no point did I feel alone and the waiter was a touch of class.
L'Auberge des Cimes has the perfect location, most of its rooms have views to the Cirque de Gavarnie and it is close to the restaurant. It has parking area for free, even for an extra night if you go camping or hike to Serradets Refuge.
The location is superb, right at the start of the trail to Cirque de Gavarnie. Free parking and the restaurants and shops are just a few steps away. Our balcony comes with mountain view.
There are limited accommodation in Gavarnie. With Chez Sanyouyou you get the basic in terms of room. The breakfast was good. Great view of the Cirque from the property.
