Great location near to the gondola to Méribel and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Spacious room with large comfortable bed. Reasonably priced secure parking. Breakfast was extensive and good quality. Staff courteous and helpful. A far more cost effective option than staying in Méribel etc.

Brides is a lovely small town ideal for those who want to enjoy the ski area of the Three Valleys but who want a more relaxed, low key environment for the evenings. There is a lovely park alongside the river to enjoy an evening stroll. There are a few bars and restaurants but you don't come here for night time entertainment.

It is really unfortunate that the mayor's idea to boost the town as a location for skiers is to put on over-loud and poor quality bands in the town square. This absolutely ruins the experience. Suppose you are tired after a day of skiing and want to settle down to dinner in comfort? How will you feel if all you can hear is amplified drum beats?

Brides-les-Bains is a cheaper and convenient way of skiing the Meribel / 3 Valleys ski area.
The area is quiet but with plenty going on, and lots of lovely restaurants. The gondola is centrally located, there is an Intersport hire shop attached to the gondola but I found this pricier than the central location (2 minutes down the road). You can however, hire lockers from the Intersport located at the gondola station which was really useful, but worth noting that the locker has a space available for individual sets of skis so will need one per person.
Brides-les-Bains is full of lovely restaurants, however it is vital to book. On our first evening we were wondering around for a while trying to locate somewhere to eat. It appears that they have several 'sittings' for dinner and will often put up a sign to say they are full. We then made bookings for the rest of our stay to avoid this issue.

We love Brides Les Bains as it is not wholly a ski resort - it has a character that is more about the valley location and community than the skiing with interesting buildings, a park, a river and valley scenery. It's a fairly quiet village, although it's livelier in school holidays, when there is usually some kind of entertainment on at the end of the day.
Eating out is varied, although there aren't a huge number of venues.
The village offers free parking in a variety of locations.
It is very easily accessed, and we have never been affected by the weather conditions for getting there or getting away.
Accommodation, both catered and un-catered, is plentiful and reasonably priced.
Plenty to do for non-skiers with well sign posted walks and interesting towns nearby.

French town situated in the valley just below Meribel.
French town situated in the valley just below Meribel. It's connected to the three valleys ski area by a 25 minute gondola ride. As it opens 1/2 hour earlier you actually don't miss any skiing.
Everything seems much cheaper than up in the mountains, and for a cheaper option with access to fantastic skiing it's worth considering as an alternative.

Brides great satellite of the 3 valleys.
Brides great satellite of the 3 valleys. Nice bars and restaurants. No too many drunken idiots. Plenty of character. Lift takes about 25 mins to get to Meribel centre. Hence the good value for money. (DO NOT MISS the last lift alternatives aren't good. )Easy to drive to , Bus from the station in Moutiers - 10 mins or so.

Easy check-in, great location only a short walk from the Gondola though we decided to drive up to Meribel, the village of Brides Les Bains is really quaint - check-out the bars and restaurants and the gift shop opposite the hotel is much cheaper than the gift shops further up the slopes! everyone is friendly in the hotel - the bar staff are funny and engaging
There are not many hotels like this - charming, quaint, family owned. The food is hearty, feels home-made and includes all of the usual French classics. The common areas (dining + bar) feel social and relaxed. It is a very short walk to the lift which takes you straight into Meribel.
Food at dinner was great. Spa was a nice touch, but often was out of clean towels so we had to bring from upstairs. Also, only open 3 hours a day (5-8pm) which is a bit odd, considering most restaurants close at 9 so we had to choose between spa and eating at a reasonable time.
The convenience cannot be understated. being able to roll out of bed in the morning make breakfast, then be on the slopes 45 min later, taking Olympia gondola. Then having a grocery store (Spar) literally a block away made things even easier for making meals at the apartment.
The staff was the best of the best ⭐️They were always available and answering all the questions in a minute..
Apartment Pavot was very comfortable, all the furniture and kitchen equipments were the same as in the pictures. There was a ski bus in front of the hotel..
The property has everything that someone needs while on vacation… very clean, spacious, great service, and located in a very calm and beautiful area… apartments are fully equipped with everything needed and even more… also parking adds to its greatness even more
Absolutely amazing place with breathtaking view and kind and helpful staff!
Brides-les-Bains is a chill and happy little place, the locals are active and welcoming, we stayed there for 2 days and it was THE BEST!
Thank you!!
The hotel has own parking place free of charge. Very nice hall and restaurant inside. Location in the center of the city. But location inside the quarter. be in attention and look at road sign. It helps you to find the hotel.
The host spoke perfect English and was very helpful. The apartment is exactly as seen in the pictures modern spacious and clean.
The kitchen was well equipped, and easy to use.
We stayed for 10 days very comfortably.
Hotel and village have a classical, nostalgic air. Not a fancy village nor hotel. Makes it nice as well. The rooms are okay. Breakfast is fine. The sauna was nice as well.
Brides les Bains = good. Good ambiance. Hotel, good. Clean, warm, interesting building and locale, plenty of hot water - all you need without the frills.
