The old town was beautiful, but outside of that was difficult to get around as not much public transport. Used my bike and walking a lot for the majority of my stay. Some great restaurants to explore.

Great varierty of restaurants and shops. Everyone very friendly. Easy to park not very expensive. Paths cleared of snow. Lots to see and do that don't cost anything. A few takeaways .including McDonalds and vans selling pizza and kebabs which seemed to be doing briskly business. Well.worth a visit.

Good choice for active travellers because nestled in the intersection of several valleys (great possibilities for biking and hiking). The old part of the town is nice but a little bit too much turist-oriented: certainly it's a good choice for a rest day after sport activities.

Stayed in the summer for a cycling holiday. The new and old sides of Briancon are a travellers delight. You are not far from a number of popular cycling routes including the Col D’Izoard and Galbier. I will return

Excellent ski resort, with access to many ski runs along the valley and surrounding mountains. Outside the ski season, there are walks in almost every direction, with varying levels of difficulty. There is a good choice of hotels and restaurants, at various price levels.
The town has two main parts, the "Old Town" being within a previously fortified locality, provides great views over the surrounding area.
The "New Town" is relatively compact, and has facilities such as supermarkets that you would expect in any French town. Access to Briançon is straighforward by car or train, and flights to and from Turin airport can use a shuttle bus.
The hotel is in a great location within a 3 minute walk to the gondola. The room was a good size with just about enough storage for a family of 4 for a week. The room had toiletries and towels and where cleaned daily. Their is a supermarket just round the corner and approx. 10 restaurants within a 5 minute walk, you can also walk up the hill to the old town (20 min) where there are more restaurants. This is good value for money if you are just looking for a base whilst skiing.
Nice apartment in Briançon close to the town centre and supermarkets. The apartment had plenty of room for 3 persons and it had enough facilities for a 1 week stay. Many people say that the helicopters landing and taking off at the Briançon hospital heliport are annoying, but they were not. If you're a mountaineer and will be out during the day, you will only encounter some landings in the evening. Also, helicopters do not fly at night, so it's not a big deal.
- Breakfast exceptional continental style. The host lays out the breakfast items for arrival in the morning and is there to make sure you have what you want. Quality as well as quantity.
- Room was large and had everything you would want in any hotel room
- For a 'bed and breakfast' style accommodation, this is as good as it can get
Very clean and well renovated. Lots of space in the appartment. Everything looked bran new and didn't missed anything.
This is one of the best appartment we've rent on the 13 we had for our summer vacations.
In addition, it's a 10min walk to the Vauban city!!
If we go back, for sure we are renting this appartment again.
this is a great option if you look for a clean, modern and fully furnished accommodation in briancon. we particularly enjoyed the company of the elders. the location is great, easily accessible by car with a large parking slot. very good value for money and good restaurant at reasonable prices. highly recommended
The entire chalet is well-maintained, spacious, kids-friendly and equipped with all necessary items for a comfortable stay.
It offers awesome views of the nearby mountains.
The host is friendly, patient and helpful.
We did not have a car and it was easy to reach the chalet by bus from Briançon SNCF.
Breakfast was very poor. The region is renowned for its cheese, jams and honey, yet they offer the most commerical, sugary alternatives on the market. The croissants are not fresh ( in France!!) and there is a sign infront of the apples saying ' you must eat on premise'. So poor and cheap.
Location. Perfect for skiers, close to the Prorel lift. Communication with the owners was efficient and clear. The apartment is as expected for this kind of apartments in Briancon (we've been previously in some simillar apartments in some neighboring buildings)
The hotel has a good pool with sauna and steam room that you can enjoy with no additional cost.
The room was quite small bit enough for a short stay. Some rooms have balcony, ours didn't have. It can be useful for storing ski equipment.
Great location in the Vauban area of Briancon. It was lovely to stay in an interesting old building. The price was very good value and the apartment had everything we needed. The sofa bed was very comfortable.
Lovely hotel with great ambience. Very warm with helpful & friendly staff. Great central location for access to the slopes & added benefit of free parking We will definitely stay there again
It's a great location. Nice hotel, helpful and friendly staff.
Small room, but comfortable, warm and clean. Good breakfast.
There is a pool and a sauna we're we've been every evening.
Right in the middle of the old town. Free parking just outside (not even 5 minutes walk).
Beautiful old authentic petit hotel with modern room and bathroom.
Room was clean and cozy. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic and the hotel staff was very friendly. Great location for access to everything in Briancon.
