Of the 2 rooms we booked, one had a little balcony with a seating area and a nice view of the mountains. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was really comfortable. The best part was the proximity to the ski lift.

A very charming hotel with equally charming staff. The dinner and service was wonderful. Best of all was the amazing sauna after a cold day of ski.

Village is small & compact, some nice bars
Starting to build many apartments around the back so expect it to get expensive in a few years.
Great for summer or winter.
Good restaurants for the number of visitors that come at the moment. Only downside really is that everything is not open all the time outside of weekends as not cost effective.

Not luxurious resort but pretty good nevertheless.
Not luxurious resort but pretty good nevertheless. Many good ski runs of any difficulty. Auron is easy to get to from Nice even by public bus - either 91 which cost just one Euro or 91x (express) which cost six Euro each way. Bus ride is about an hour and a half and the route is very picturesque. I will definitely go back to Auron
The overall location for the hotel is good. It’s directly down to the main square with restaurants which however also mean a bit of noise because the have loud speaker music at the square during the day and night every day we were there (sat-mon). For a mountain hotel however the view isn’t the best, as the square, cars, and the surrounding buildings blocks some of the view (we had a room a first level, payed extra for balcony with mountain view). expect mountain behind buildings but not mountain panorama view.
The host and hostess were so welcoming and attentive to our every need. I have travelled all over the world and have never experienced such genuine attention. The hotel location cannot be better. The rooms are comfortable and neat. Some of the rooms have balconies facing the mountain with lovely views. These rooms have a south / south west exposition giving you sun on your balcony throughout the day (if the sun is out of course).
Pretty location a short car ride from the centre of Auron. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. It had all the facilities we needed for a one night stay. Carine was a helpful and friendly host offering lots if information on hikes, where to eat etc in the local area.
One of the friendliest most hospitable hotels I have ever been in. TiTi is the perfect host and the hardest working man in hospitality, yet always has time to help you out or make you that extra coffee
Although the hotel is located by the ski lift, you have to walk through the ski lanes to get to the entrance...
Checking in or out, carrying luggage is an unpleasent adventure there!
Our room was great had great views of The Mountain and was very pretty. It’s ski in and ski out, you arrive skiing directly to the entrance of the hotel. Breakfast was ok.
All of the staff including the restaurant were so helpful! The hotel is tight in the center of town. The breakfast was delicious and the dinners good, too.
