Main thing always the quality of welcome. The proprietor and his family were welcoming and flexible. Ate evening meal and breakfast at the property. It is in a mountain village and there aren't other options nearby (as far as I know), but the food was robust and well prepared. Bedroom was on top floor and a bit airless in summer, with a loud fan occasionally running in the next room. But easy to adapt to this. Place is easy to reach by road from Ax-les-Thermes but also on some major walking routes and classic bike climbs. For a solid, unpretentious stay and the chance to meet people, my wholehearted recommendation.RobinUnited Kingdom
