Great location with a “more than enough” continental breakfast. The proprietors were helpful in suggesting local sights and hikes to take. The room was renovated with the bathroom having been refurbished to a high standard. Parking was a minor challenge but simply added to the adventure.

Simply sensational - Nathalie & Michel were excellent hosts and their chambre d’hôtel was full of character with beautiful rooms and comfy beds. After a long day of cycling, it was great being able to relax by the pool. 100% recommended
This hotel was perfect for our short stay in Argeles - Gazost. The location is very central, within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants in the town. The rooms are on the smaller side, but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Ours had a great view of the surrounding mountains and a little balcony, too. We left the window open to cool off during the night, and even with an open window it was very quiet outside. We also appreciated the free on-site parking and the easy check-in/check-out process. Wifi worked well in the room.
The Dolwin is an annexe for the main hotel across the road. Reception and breakfast were at the main hotel. Both buildings were charming, old but excellently cared for. A real taste of classic French buildings. The elderly lady and man who welcomed me were also charming. The excellent French style breakfast was served on the hotel's own monogrammed crockery. A very nice touch. Top marks all round. A walk around the town was also very pleasant with shops and restaurants. And in easy reach by car for the wonderful nearby mountains.
The studio is spacious, clean, well-equipped, perfect for couples (there's a pull-out sofa too). Situated in the centre of Argeles-Gazost, a great location from which to drive to get to lots of interesting towns and trekking/skiing/snowshoeing trails. Françoise and her husband were very warm. Great value for money. Highly recommended!
The apartment was spotless, well-stocked, brilliant location. Audrey was very friendly and helpful. We used the bed and sleeper couch and both were very comfortable. We were able to store our bicycles in the locked lobby which was reassuring. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone passing through Argelès-Gazost
The experience in staying in the hotel deserves the trip! The owners of the hotel are a delightful couple who manage the place with such a passion and are super caring of the hosts experience. The hotel is pretty well located to explore the surrounding and the room are cozy with antique furniture… do not miss the breakfast!
The owner was very pleasant and helpful, the location is a few min walk to a lift to go into town , we were traveling with a dog , so excellent for walking the dog in the mornings in the park opposite, also lovely walks from Argelès-Gazost , the view from the balcony , hot water all the time, large accommodation .
The studio was perfect for a us! Everything you needed was there; kitchen equipment, oven, microwave, pepper, salt and oil, good shower etc. Even a small garden to sit outside. The owner was very friendly and even bought a small breakfast for the first day. Higly recommend when you’re around Argeles-Gazost.
A really great studio apartment, with really friendly and helpful hosts. Location was perfect for walking around Argelès-Gazost, and amazing for cycling. Was able to ride from the door and take on famous climbs such as the Aubisque, Tourmalet, Soulour ad Luz Ardiden. Perfect for cyclists and walkers.
Quintessentially French hotel which suited us down to the ground. We had a triple room which easily accommodated our 3 year old and both of us with room to spare. Great central location, lovely breakfast and great hosts.
Argelès-Gazost is surrounded by must-see spots: Tourmalet, Col d'Aubisque, Port d'espagne, Lourdes, Lac d'Artouste and de Cirque de Gavarnie. We enjoyed the french breakfast. Perfect (open) Wifi
Location was brilliant, public parking nearby. Restaurant and bar offered excellent food and entertainment. I recommend visiting amazing animal park just 10-15min walk from hotel.
