Location is perfect for Ski in ski out. Single room was just enough. Nice but not flashy. Ski rental very reasonable across the street. Gondola is 2 minute walk from hotel. Pre-arranged lift ticket with hotel. Extremely convenient. Lockable ski storage in lobby. After I saw the Hotel Breakfast buffet, I added it both days. Wonderful breakfast and cheap for 10Euros/day. Grocery Market 1 min away, restaurants, 5-10 minutes away. Very walkable. Easy to get to.

Nothing - no pool, small bar, morning coffee cafe non-existent - also more importantly it was ridiculously overpriced - i was charged €750 for 2 nights, yet on the 2nd day i checked online and they were selling rooms for €100 - so they ripped me off

El Serrat is a small village and quiet and a bit strung out along a series of bends on the main road. We mainly stayed to the hotel. It's close to the Arcalis ski area and within reasonable distance of Pal and Andorra le Bell.

The hiking Lake trail (Nou trail) is a pleasure to do, and can be combined with a chairlift journey and a lunch/dinner in restaurant LaComa. The capital Andorra la Vella is within 20 minutes ride. The hotel is easy to find, the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms look over mountains and a river, it is quiet and beautiful. It is worthwhile to take a room with a terrace, but also more budget accommodations without balcony are fine.
