Only stay here if you are trying to save money otherwise find a better hotel, biggest gripe I have stayed for 4 days never had town service, place is hard to find if you don’t know where to look, biggest problem the shower has a push button and only runs for a short time, not impressed!

Yöpuu is a kind of dream place for me. I have been there once earlier, in the midst of a heavy work task and everything was great even then. This time I knew what to expect - and your hotel exceeded all the expectations. Thank you so much.

Jyvastyla was a great surprise, we visited the Aalto museum, which was excellent. We walk to the University of Jyvaskyla, very impressive and beautiful. We could walk in to the lecture halls, libraries, class rooms. Many restaurants and cafes.
I would go back once more to see the city center and galleries.

The right season needs to be chosen to visit this town.
The right season needs to be chosen to visit this town. I'd recommend late spring, summer or early autumn. But not December. January and February might work only if you're coming here for skiing. There are not much entertainings, mostly just stores and restaurants in the downtown, prices in groceries might be even higher than in Helsinki. People are friendly, surprisingly a lot of teenagers. Staying here for one night is enough to see harbour, observation tower, central square and church, couple of local museums, stores and restaurants. Can recommend Verona pizzeria, great pizza, kebab and pasta, decent prices, location in the centre, and Haiku sushi, with good selection of sushi and friendly owner! You can just walk around, no need fir public transportation, it will take 5 minutes to get to the centre from the railway station.

I expect a different architecture: the buildings do not have a particular style but the university is really excellent
It's unusual to visit a hotel with even all the details taken care of. The breakfast was exceptional with a good selection and quality. The location is good, not far from restaurants, shops, and the railway station. The staff was friendly and clearly putting effort to make you feel good. The room was comfortable, with even minor things being taken care of, such as a comfortable room temperature and the ease of getting warm water from the shower and water tap. Finally, the building is nice and beautiful from the outside and inside.
Hotel Milton is very conveniently located with the train station just 5 min walk away and the city center similarly with all its shops, restaurants and bars just minutes away. The staff is friendly and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice for all. I had a single room for one night stay, which was basic as would be expected but bigger than any other single room I have seen in the UK, and it was comfortable and clean with good shower facilities.
A cheap room in an outdoor hostel, I recommend for a short stay. Very nice sauna included in the price. Good laundry facilities. Nice full body mirror in the room. Fridge in the room, though there could have been one in the kitchen too. Right next to various outdoor activities, adventure park, downhill skiing, jogging paths, hiking... the fireplace room was nice, though it would also have been nice to have had the option to actually use the fireplace.
The studio was lovely, sad that I only stayed for one night.
It was clean, nicely decorated, comfy bed.
Didn’t get a chance to use it but the kitchen looked well equipped.
Studio is about 20 minutes walk from the train station, so location seemed central though I only stayed for the one night for a concert so didn’t explore anything in the city .
Would be happy to stay again if I visited Jyväskylä again.
This is our 2nd time staying here and it was as lovely as the first time. The hostess is really friendly and easy to communicate with. The place is cosy and comfortable. It feels like living in your home with hotel service. Susanna provides amenities beyond the norm to ensure your stay is comfortable, cosy and convenient. Thank you again for hosting us in your lovely apartment.
Amazing place. Nice, quiet, and modern rooms, good facilities. We ended up spending a lot of time at the actual hotel rather than going to our planned activity, just because it was so nice hanging out there. If you don't mind the location, then I can't imagine finding a better place to stay in Jyväskylä.
The apartment is spacious, and especially the kitchen is well equipped. Convenient location close to the train and bus station, Jyväskylä’s main event venues and downtown. I was also happy to receive thorough check-in instructions well beforehand!
The hotel was lively, very kid friendly with play rooms and soft play, bouncy castle and role play rooms, the restaurants were big and child friendly and the food was ok.
The breakfast selection was amazing.
The spa was good and warm.
very good location, friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, great breakfast. Also the downstairs restaurant serves delicious meals. there is sauna and pool for the guests. I will recommend this hotel to others.
The place of the hotel was very good. We could have reached all parts of the town. The electronic code was easy and comfy to use. The cleaners were very nice and they provided us with daily empty bins...
Affordable price for good location, close to city center. Room was very clean. Friendly staff. Tea/coffee in lobby. Definitely this will be preferred choice when visited Jyväskylä again.
Good breakfast and dinner (just a bit pricey)
Garage parking at the hotel, with a pre-booked spot with charging
Spacious room with plenty of storage space and nice decorations
View is the best city hotel view ever!
Breakfast was excellent, including also gluten free options and clearly marked allergens.
Staff was polite and interested to help us.
A whole apartment in the center of Jyväskylä. Quiet, and clean enough. Excellent value for the money, considering that it was among the cheaper booking offers.
