It was the best way of enjoying the snow (being Irish it is a novelty )and enjoying the peaceful forest surrounding the hotel.
It was a great start to our christmas break before going into the city.
It was magical and I did a morning hike around the grounds of the hotel.
My sons and I loved it.

For those who likes to be in nature. There is nearby two very good birdwatching places: Maarian lintutorni and Laajalahden lintutorni. I also recommend to visit Villa Elfin nearby. Also Gallen-Kallela museum is worth of visiting.

It was really nice, The reception is open 24/7 we reached the hotel by around 0030 hrs and the counter was open.
We had a private sauna in our room which is really good.
Breakfast was also very nice.
Buffet Breakfast was okay, staff was amazing and it's a great stay if you're going skiing or to the water park. The hotel is old but it doesn't feel dated, it feels vintage, it feels like new from the 80's. Gym is very 80's, i feel like Schwarzenegger when working out. The sauna was pretty nice, the rooms were comfortable. Great hiking trail around the hotel with a beautiful lake and wonderful greenery.
The dinner at the restaurant was very tasty, the soup was amazing.
Great location, a landmark building with famous architecture from late 50's (by architect Viljo Revell). I suggest all visitors to google 'taskumattitalo'. Location is next to Tapiola center, with plenty of services, and also Espoo Museum of Modern Art (EMMA) is just few hundred meters away. Tapiola itself is a unique suburban area with distinct history. The view from windows opened to the center (and Helsinki), especially nighttime it was spectacular.
Classical Scandinavian hotel: modern, clean, nice. I guess it was the first time I actually made use of a TV in a hotel because it was a smart one so I used it for Chromecast (and also as an alarm clock). If you are coming to Aalto university, this hotel is ideal. If you are coming to visit the Helsinki centre, you would need to travel (like 20 minutes by metro to the city centre).
The hotel has access to a gym, which was above an average hotel gym.
Very nice hotel alongside the Korpilampi small lake. Has inner pool, kids pool and jacuzzi as well as saunas. The bonus is open access to the lake right after the sauna session - a value that cannot be underestimated. Rich kids zone on the ground floor is a pleasant spot for the small ones in case you travel with kids.
Rich scandinavian breakfast is absolutely worth it - healthy food with great taste and variety of dishes
The apartment had everything necessary (comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen etc) and was great for a relaxing stay just a bit outside of Helsinki. Big plus was the sauna in the apartment.
The location is also good as it's not far from Helsinki and is located just next to the metro station.
The host of the place was quick to answer any questions we had. All in all, a great stay.
The hotel is located right next to the entrance of the metro station, very easy to access downtown Helsinki. Breakfast was outsantding with a great variety of choices. Iso Omena shopping centre is 200 metres from the hotel and there is a swimming pool with a gym just 100 metres, behind the hotel building. There are rooftop saunas, which are open during the later afternoon.
Very nice and silent place, near the lake. Friendly and helpfull staff. Simple and good breakfast. I also recommend to have a dinner at the hotel restaurant - the food really tastes like home made, the options are simple, but it's nice for the price :) We also really enjoyed the possibility to stay with our dogs - hotel is dog friendly :)
Spacious house, big enough for 8 people. Everything needed is provided, for example bed linen, towels and dishes. Usually, in Finland you need to bring your own bed linen, when you are renting a cottage. Serena aqua park is included in the price. Even we didn’t have little children with us, adults were also happy to visit an aqua park :)
The apartment is in an excellent location, Ainoa shopping center has everything you need, shops, restaurants, Metro connection to Helsinki. The apartment is very clean, all furniture, kitchen, and machines are very new, the big balcony has very beautiful scenery. The host is very friendly and helpful.
Strongly recommended!
Excellent option for car travellers: free parking and a walking distance to the underground station connecting in few minutes with Helsinki city center. Extremely friendly staff: especially at the reception but also during breakfast. Great breakfast with omelette live cooking. Sauna included. New, modern, clean hotel
Pool was nice, view from the pool was excellent! View from window as well. Art hotel, interesting, tho naked lady butt up was weird statue 🙈 Breakfast was very good! Not for vegans, but I hope that by asking advance, there is also protein options for vegans
A charming hotel surrounded by water. In my case, ice, ☺️. The hotel's interior is filled with modern art in various forms. A place worth recommending. Good breakfast, nice service, close to Helsinki. Moderate prices for the minibar.🤗
Haltia Lake Lodge won Best Sustainable Hotel in Europe 2022. it is very easy to access from Helsinki or the airport. Beautiful forest, lakes and walking trails. Helpful staff and a very comfortable bed. Perfect.
Very nice new hotel with rooms and apartments, right next to the metro station, bus terminal and a large shopping center, but also quite close to the see side and nice places to walk and relax.
This hotel is lcoated at a very nice location next to a lake. All property and terrain is very well taken care off. I think the hotel is used a lot by truckers and for conferences and parties.
Nice place to spend a couple of days in Espoo. Hotel room is clean, bed is very comfortable. Great that pets are allowed. Quite close Metro station and not so far from Tapiola.
