We stayed in Espoo for one night,then stayed four in Helsinki. It was the best way of enjoying the snow (being Irish it is a novelty )and enjoying the peaceful forest surrounding the hotel. It was a great start to our christmas break before going into the city. It was magical and I did a morning hike around the grounds of the hotel. My sons and I loved it.

For those who likes to be in nature. There is nearby two very good birdwatching places: Maarian lintutorni and Laajalahden lintutorni. I also recommend to visit Villa Elfin nearby. Also Gallen-Kallela museum is worth of visiting.

An The apartment has a small desk for working, balcony for enjoying quite moments, fully functional kitchen and comfy lighting for a relaxing evening. The host Antii is super responsive. The instructions he sent for the check-in were detailed and clear.
