Lots of closed bars and restaurants. Small groceries - ok.
Lots of closed bars and restaurants. Small groceries - ok. Not many hiking roots in winter, of course. Not so good marking of the streets, vias, hikes, routes, restaurants.
Good pizzeria Deny, would recommend.

The ski area of Monte Civetta is a middle size region, but providing nice conditions for both beginner and advanced skiers, In contrary to very famous destinations, such Sella Ronda or Predazzo is not so crowded.

If you'll be happy just skiing Civetta this is ideal, much cheaper than other areas with better access to the other ski resorts. Zoldo is a good long drive on mega twisty roads from other areas. There isn't much going on there, a few quiet bars and a few superb restaurants, that's about it. Very friendly and seems a lot cheaper on the mountain than other areas of the Superski.

A characteristic small town north west from Venice with beautiful views being the village in front of the dolomites. Skiing and snowboarding are the main attractions here, attracting tourists from every part of Europe. All the facilities e.g. slopes, ski lifts, restaurant are well kept by staff. After a day on the slopes you can enjoy some local Italian food in the many restaurants in town. To visit if you are into skiing and snowboarding.

a fascinating old style mountain vacation , after a week stay you will know everyone in the Pecol village. Best ice cream ever at the Soleil and excellent dinners at Enoteca Coldai in Pecol.
a wonderful hike to Mount Ponta from Costa Village among many others in the area.
Hotel Edelweiss was fantastic. We stayed at the end of the summer season after 6 days of Trekking on the AV1. Pecol/Hotel Edelweiss is an great exit strategy from AV1. The entire town was quiet. Edelweiss welcomed us in. The family that runs the hotel is incredibly kind and accommodating. We left early due to bus schedule back toward Venice. They accommodated our early departure by moving up breakfast. Their croissants were the best we've ever had. Great coffee/espresso. Couldn't ask for more. Stay here!
This is such a nice treasure. The hotel was very clean, warm water and warm rooms and great food. The property is amazing but more than the facilities itself is the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth, her husband and young daughters running a hotel 24x7 and providing always a great smile and service considering there were 94 people at our giving moment in time.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s 15min away from the main town, which is not bad and the view from the terrace and the rooms is incredible.
On the other hand Nicola and Claudio, are the nicest people. I was injured and they provided me with ice, good recommendation for easy hikes and helped me with all I need it.
All was perfect, nice quiet spacious and comfortable apartment in the small but convenient city of Forno Di Zoldo. The host was so friendly and helpful. And don't hesitate to eat in their restaurant, amazing experience, with so excellent food.
Convenient location to visit Val Di Zoldo.
Very nice, charming staff. Superb location, just a short stroll to the ski lift. Good food - both breakfast and dinners. Excellent family atmosphere. The hotel was just the right size - not too small and not too big - cozy. A pleasant room with a terrific view.
Location was excellent. It was perfect for our exit from the dolomites. We were super happy with all of the food, it exceeded our expectations for a hotel. The availability of a wellness center was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
Location is absolutely fantastic, very quiet and remote. Mountain view from the window. Many hiking trails start directly behind the hotel. Big parking area and bus stop directly in front of hotel. Breakfast was good with a wide range of choices.
Staff friendliness.
Parking spaces.
Village and region with superb views and many hiking options.
The cuisine and especially the seafood cooked exceptionally.
Hotel bar open late.
The place is beautiful and the hosts were amazing, its a family place which made it very cozy and warm. The owner of the hotel was so nice, and the breakfast was great!
