Val di Fiemme is a wonderful mountainous area with a lot of outdoor possibilities. The area breathes sports with great tracks and roads for hiking, mountainbiking, racebiking, climbing... it's all there accompanied with stunning views and lovely creeks to cool down on a hot summer day. The small towns are lovely to stroll around in the evening, looking for a good pizza. You'll find everything you need from supermarket to sports outlets and lovely cafes and restaurants. Just mingle in with the locals sitting outside, sipping a macchiato and watch the day pass by.

Nice, large balcony, nice wooden window shutters, so I could sleep well in spite of full moon. Staff friendliness was very mixed, from very friendly to no-smile-possible, thus I could not answer the question above correctly.
