We stayed at Hotel Gallia for a base for cycling in the area. A garage for storage of bicycles was provided so we didn't have to haul them up to the room. The hotel is right alongside the Stelvio pass road, but the windows and wall provided sufficient sound deadening and it wasn't an issue. The hotel provided excellent breakfast and dinners, a nice perk for this remote location.
Featuring a restaurant and free spa with hot tub, Turkish bath and sauna, family-run Gasthof zur Sonne lies in Stelvio, part of the namesake national park.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this hotel deserves all the positives I can give it. In retrospect, we wish we had scheduled to stay more than one night. The property and rooms are exceptionally clean and look almost new. The five course dinner (which we didn't know about until we arrived) is phenomenal. So is the breakfast. Conveniently situated on the east side of the Stelvio Pass and is perfect for exploring and hiking. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Facing Mount Ortles and set along the street leading to central Stelvio, family-run Hotel Stilfserhof offers a restaurant, and a free wellness area with sauna, infrared cabin, and Turkish bath.

The hotel has character, the well thought combination of modern and old times give it a special charm. There is a lot of attention to details seen throughout the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the food was delicious and the stuff is super welcoming, friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back!

Welcoming staff, good breakfast and evening meal, good bar and reasonably priced. Comfortable, modern room with a fantastic view of the mountains. Free onsite parking.
Beautiful traditional family run hotel. Dinner was as good as Michelin star! The menu was typical of the area, plenty choice and the food was presented very well in deed. Great wine list. Breakfast was varied both hot and cold options and again local produce including fresh breads

I came to bicycle the Stelvio. The ride was fantastic.
I came to bicycle the Stelvio. The ride was fantastic. Go early as later on in the day there are a lot of cars and motorcycles all wanting to race up and down. You can still do the ride, but its nicer when you have the quiet and less traffic. I rode up from the Prada side, which is the toughest climb and also less traffic. Coming up the Bormio side is a bit easier ride but this is a huge ski resort and there is a ton of traffic going up for sightseeing.

We spent a wonderful time in this hotel. The owners care about all details of your satisfaction. There was enough space in the room, very clean and one thing I loved after whole day of skiing was floor heating in the bathroom.(made me feel warm).Additionally you can use sauna what is so relaxing. But we’re impressed the most of menu options for each day, great service and taste of the meals. Good job to cook and all waiters!! Hope we’ll come back in the next year:)
This place is located very close to the famous Passo dello Stelvio, you can reach it within 20 minutes. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, you can choose from variety of different meals and they even make different types of egg meals for you. Parking is dead easy next to the hotel and WiFi worked perfectly. We can highly recommend this place and will definitely come back when visiting Stelvio.
Location is excellent for Stelvio pass. Family run business where you are treated as friends rather than guests. Food options are B&B or half board. the half board option is a five course home cooked meal prepared but the excellent chef. the accommodation is very clean and upto date. for bikers they offer to dry your gear if needed. there are locked garages for bike but plenty of safe parking on site

Beautiful view from the terrace, peaceful neighbourhood, spacious well-equipped apartment, very close to Stelvio Pass. Due to its excellent location ideal for hikers or anyone who is interested climbing the alpine road either with bicycle, motorbike or car. Host was flexible with late check-in, it's a big plus.
The incredible scenery, sitting in a movie like mountain village and looking straight at two mountain giants while eating and relaxing.... The hotel family run, very decent prices for great food, the staff friendly but with character, I like it that they are real. Great wellness. Great service.
Stunning family run hotel at the bottom of Stelvio pass. Perfect location for exploring Stelvio and the area. Lovely room with a stunning view. Breakfast was exceptional, with a great variety. Restaurant in the hotel very good, and reasonably priced. very friendly and accommodating staff.
Traveling by bike up and over the Stelvio pass, this B&B was one of the options to stay at and I'm happy we did. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, the staff very friendly, and there was a locked area for bicycles including tools and a pump. The views are outstanding (of course).
Even though the staff spoke limited English, this was one of the nicest places we have stayed. All staff were genuinely warm and friendly. The hotel decor and ambiance was tasteful and felt brand new. The food was outstanding.
Fabulous location with great view over the mountains, big and clean room, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and dinner is a must! Super friendly and helpful staff! I definitely recommend this hotel!
It was a nice clean appartement, with good beds and the children like the big Tv 😉. we like the food from the hotel restaurant. in the evening we had great walks in Stelvio. near busstation to solda
The staff was exceptional. The hotel is on the right warm legs/engine distance from the beginning of the Stelvio pass. Great view. Great village full of nice people.
