Siusi will take your breath away, literally. Like something out of a fairy tale, you couldn't imagine a place like this exists without seeing it for yourself. If it isn't at the top of your travel bucket list, I highly recommend you add Alpe Di Siusi to it today ;).

Siusi is a nice, picturesque village with a small centre that offers all you need - a nice caffee, some restaurants, a well stocked shop, bakery, etc.
It is really close to Seiseralm cable car and offers plenty of opportunities for walks and some nice old churches paired with views of magnificent Mt. Schlern.

If you are visiting the Dolomite mountains, Siusi is perhaps the place to stay. The cable car facilities are in the town. This cable car will take up the mountains into an open valley where you can see the mountains all around you. You can walk down this valley a few hundred yards and take a chair lift to a higher point where your eye sight can reach peaks like Marmolada much farther away. Siusi is full of hotels and several restaurants. It is a nice little town cubbyholed in the mountains, but easy and safe to reach.

Hiking in Alpe de Suise was fantastic.
Hiking in Alpe de Suise was fantastic. Driving in Italy problematic for Americans as Italians tailgate CONSTANTLY even on narrow and curved mountain roads. Scooter drivers and motorcyclysits have no regard to traffic laws and are frankly dangerous.

Siusi si a small mountain place, where you can find everything what you want for your holiday. Cablecar, playground for kids, cafeteria, bus station, church, shop, gas station, etc. And nice surrounding everywhere...
The apartment was very clean and had all the expected facilities such as coffee maker, kettle, etc. We often had our meals on the balcony and despite the flat being in the centre of the town it was really peaceful and offered magnificent views of the peaks of the Sciliar. Also, if you go self catering the local supermarket is just 2 minutes away plus there're a pharmacy and a couple of bakeries nearby. The WiFi was excellent and for a small fee you can wash and dry your laundry. Irene, our host, was friendly and helpful.
The room was beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. The room balcony had fantastic views. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony taking in the view. The hotel and pool have the most beautiful view of the mountain as well. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. Some of the best food we had in Italy. The staff is so welcoming and kind. Matthias was an excellent host- he remembers all his guests and their preferences
The lodging is in the lower corner of Seis, a bit distant from the shops, but has easy parking directly in front. The view of the mountain from the building is incredible. The apartment was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed our three-night stay here, and it was very well-priced. If you want peace and quiet while still being in the middle of the Dolomites, this is the place to be.
The flat is very confortable, well organised, spacious and in a beautiful location. It’s light, has a lovely outdoor large terrace and is very close to the pretty village of Siusi and the cable car. The host , Massimiliano was extremely welcoming and very very helpful and kind to us when my son needed some medical treatment. He did everything he could to help us . I have never met such a kind host.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking. It is central to a lot of the places we wanted to see in the Dolomites. The women in the front desk were wonderful as was the staff serving for breakfast and dinner. The food was also wonderful. And they provided our infant with a seat at the table which was really appreciated.
Everything was perfect. The apartments were super comfortable equiped with everything you will need for your stay. The location was close to the main attractions of the Dolomites region which is a big plus. They even gave us gifts when we checked out. The staff was super helpful! Definitely one of our best holidays we ever had.
Location of the hotel was superb, set right by the Seiser Alm bahn cable car. Scenery is drop dead gorgeous set up against a mountain backdrop. Dinner was superb with fresh and flavorful options. Breakfast had plentiful options buffet-style. Spa was large with plenty of lounging space. Robes and slippers for guest use!
all in all a very nice hotel.
the positives:
newly renovated.
modern design
all inclusive package or half board if desired
great pool and sauna area
lovely views from communal areas
the communal areas are the best part
super clean
breakfast was nice and the 6 courses had a very good menu
Really friendly hosts and a perfect location for hiking. You can walk in 5-10 min to the Seiser Alm Bahn which takes you up to the Alpe the Siusi for some beautifull views and hiking trails, both easy and more challenging trails are available in the area! Also great view from the balcony!
We loved our room with its deck overlooking an 12th century church. The room was comfy and soothing, the breakfast fantastic, and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. We spent four blissful days there, hiking from the hotel. The lift to Seiser Alm is less than a mile away.
The location, host, and room were spectacular. We were given a bus pass to use if we'd like and that was super nice. The cable car up to Seiser Alm is just a few minutes drive with the cute town of Castelrotto just down the other way a bit, making it an ideal location.
The property is a great location! We had views of the mountain behind us, I think the hotel gave us an upgrade (very kind of them!) The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was delicious and the manager was so friendly and helpful.
Good hotel in Seis an Schlern, very friendly owner. Big updated room with balcony, big bathroom with nice brown tiles. Dont update the bathroom, I like the 70ties. Breakfast was good in the room that looked like a berghut.
This golf hotel is perfect. I recommend dinner and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff was so helpful and the beds were comfortable. We traveled with our English bulldog and it was no problem bringing him.
Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Food is absolutely excellent, staff are fantastic and so helpful, made our stay just perfect. I would most definitely recommend this Boutique hotel to anyone.
I had a single room which was very spacious and comfortable. The owners of the hotel were very friendly as were the wonderful staff! They were extremely helpful arranging activities. Dinner was also amazing!
The place is in the middle of nature, a few minutes away from the center of siusi , and the views of the rooms and the swimming pool are wonderful , Also the breakfast was very good
Great hotel and great food. We eat breakfast and dinner there every day. A little up on the hill so more private. Family feel where they know your name. We also got free upgrade.
Location was great for Alpe di Suisi. The room and bathroom were spacious. It was nice to sit on the balcony and look at the view. Breakfast was a nice buffet
