It was central to many Dolomites attractions.
It was central to many Dolomites attractions. We ate in their restaurant. very convenient. Breakfast included was good.
We had a hire car, so easy to drive through the mountains.
A cable car ride to top of a mountain was worth doing, with lunch at the top.

The small town with its beautiful old church was delightful.
The small town with its beautiful old church was delightful. The views from everywhere in town and from the Guesthouse was breathtaking. We went to Cortina with the local bus (short trip) and then went up the Faloria cable car for a good walk and tea at the Restaurant from where the view were unforgettable. Then back to Cortina for a walk in the town and a lunch in a pub. Wish we had more time to explore San Vito di Cadore and its surroundings.

It is the most beautiful, pleasant, family, comfortable place in the word! The owner is a charming woman who is helpful at every stage of your stay. The rooms are clean, fragrant and you feel as if you were at home. The owner provides delicious, fresh fragrant cookies and rolls, baked on site. The area and location of the house is wonderful, spacious, with a wonderful view of the mountains and the garden. Warm and full of charm. The house is tastefully decorated. We felt right at home!
The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is right next to the San Vito di Cadore bus stop, so the location is super convenient. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and there were even extra amenities like a shoe sponge in the bathroom (helpful for post-hikes!) Breakfast was amazing—so many options, and delicious fresh-baked pastries. Definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and my top choice the next time I am in the Dolomites!
Loved everything about this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, the beds were super comfortable, delicious breakfast Buffett. All the small details were so thoughtful- cookies in our room, free bikes to use, etc. We wish we could spend more time there!
Wellness spa was really nice - 15 euros gives you access to a small spa with two saunas, a steam room, two cold showers and a resting area.
Big, and really beautiful apartment, three rooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, terrace and a huge, wood-covered burgeois living room. Clean and cozy, and a really nice, easygoing English-speaking landlady. San Vito di Cadore is a small holidayvillage, supermarket just next door. Good informative sheet in the apartment. Bring your own soap and basic kitchen spices.

The breakfast was amazing. The hotel is super cosy and the staff are super friendly. Bus stops for going to Cortina or Venice are within walking distance. Tickets for the bus to Cortina can be purchased at the reception. The hotel has partnered with local and nearby-town restaurants which can get you discounts of ~10% on your meal.
+The hotel staff was very nice.
+The snacks (salty and homemade desserts) from 15 to 18 very good in a nice room.
+Room was modern and all necessary equipment, although very small
+Beautiful surroundings
+Beautiful breakfast included with diversity (bonus: very pleasant and nice ladies taking care every day of the breakfast)
Great family hotel with cozy vintage decoration. Extremely clean and quiet. Jacuzzi and sauna for free with the best panoramic you could ever imagine. Outstanding breakfast: they prepare the best omeletes I've ever tried and excellent home made costratas alla mamarllatta. They offer dinner service and its fantastic!
This was my 3rd time staying in the Dolomites region of Italy but my first time in San Vito di Cadore. The town and the Hotel Marcora were both absolutely wonderful! The views from my hotel room balcony were breathtaking! The room was really nice and the staff throughout the hotel were kind and helpful.
Extraordinary view from the terrace annd very good spa and pool. Dinner is very nice as well and children playroom is also very nice to have if you're travelling with kids. Drive to Cortina takes some 20minutes and they have a ski bus to nearest lifts in San Vito di Cadore.
Despite hotel is quite old, it has magic of 1920s and I like that atmosphere, especially saloon and its furniture. Wellness part of the hotel is also very nice.
