It is nice village for skiing.
It is nice village for skiing. The 2-sit chair lift is old and should be renovated, but from there one can connect to the rest of ski slopes. The other way is to take gondola. I didn't like parking there, because it is too far from the lift. There is underground tunnel from parking place, which is I think more than 200 meters long.

The internal restaurant is reasonably priced with great traditional food. We even received fantastic ski instruction from Alberto - all very recommended. Santa Caterina had a small town with a few nice bars, a reasonably priced market where you can buy any necessaries or some cheese and snacks. The resort is also good fun with lifts a short walk from your door.

The hotel has been kind enough to arrange an on demand shuttle to the gondola as the chairlift being is out of operation as above. Choice of breakfast was amazing and hot options freshly cooked on order. Apple cake to die for. Weatein the hotel several evenings although only booked bed and breakfast. Menu is extensive Very helpful hosts and staff, nothing too much trouble

It’s a set menu but we always have options for first course, second course and desserts. The exterior of the building is beautiful and it’s location is at the square, very easy to find (like a landmark to me ☺️). Inside the building, it’s easy to navigate, our room is clean and warm. The restaurant is very cosy as well.

The personnel was really helpful and friendly. The hotel is in front of the cable car (but we did not use it), so the location would be perfect also for a sky holiday next winter.

Breakfast is very good, great pizza at restaurant. They have indoor parking with surcharge(definitely worth it in winter). Definitely recommend hotel Residence!
