As a father and member of a large family; I loved the family friendly aspect of the hotel. It felt very welcoming and warm. The best night spots in town just happen to be less than 25 steps away in 2 directions. The hotel also offers a selection of grappa tea and many other drinks. The staff was very attentive to every need as well. I had a light bulb go out in the bathroom. They got it changed before I came back, same day.

This is a lovely town with lots of little shops to potter around. The hot chocolate and cakes in Piccolo Bar amazing! People in general were very friendly. Nice restaurants and Pizzerias. Even if you are not skiing, a trip on the gondola and cable car to Rosetta Col is spectacular for the views panoramic views and the little cafe there.

San Martino di Castrozza is a small, very pleasant mountain town. there are 2 large shops - supermarkets with food, many smaller shops with clothes, souvenirs, etc. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars to visit. A new gas station has been built. Several parking lots can be used right in the town to visit the cable cars and ski areas.

The location is great, there were some people in the hotel who were very nice, but the majority of them seemed not to like being there and not motivated at all to help. Lots of hidden charges! We began to fear checkout, because we felt we would be charged for everything that in other hotels is normal. I actually started to wonder if maybe I should go to the front desks of other hotels to ask for common necessities, because I suspected I would have a better experience. We would not return here, sadly.
Pleasant and comfortable family run hotel located in the centre of the town and the owners were very helpful. It is in need of some modernisation but was acceptable and has a very small onsite car park. Breakfast is difficult to comment upon as apart from one other guest we were the only visitors as we found out late May to mid June is out of season here. What was provided was limited but perfectly acceptable given the small number guests the owners were catering for.

The hotel is in a great location. We spent 4 days treking and on cable-cars all walking distence. The staf were very helpful.
I loved the room decore. It was unique and beutiful old style design, but felt all new and well cared for.
The kitchen was really well aquipt with all you can think of.
And the best part for the summer vacation was the amazing large balkony.
View was amazing especially for sunrise if you have a room in the right direction. The rooms and hotel was clean and it was good to have a kitchen that allowed us to cook our own food. The sauna was also good and the staff and owners were helpful. There was some language barrier since the owner or not all staff knew English. But they were super helpful nonetheless.
We loved our small apartment in the Sporting Club Residence. It suited us perfectly while we did day hikes in San Martino di Castrozza. It was centrally located, and great value for money with a small kitchenette and ensuite bathroom.
The overall experience has been in line with my expectations in terms of room and food quality. A positive surprise the opportunity to reach the ski area by using the public skibus that as a stop just outside hotel facilities
Fantastic traditional hotel with amazing service and a really kind and attentive manager - they really looked after me during my stay with a personal touch and fantastic food in the restaurant. Grazie mille! - James
We created an instant connection with our hosts, who did everything to make our stay really special.
The hotel itself left no stone unturned; food was excellent; rooms were so beautiful! Decorated with details …
The hotel seemed to have been recently renovated, breakfast and dinner were by far the best ones we had in similar hotels. We woke up and went to bed looking at the Pale di San Martino, absolutely stunning view!
Breakfast was good and staff extremely friendly & polite. The hotel had been newly renovated and they served excellent dinner (to be prebooked and paid separately). Room was clean and bed very comfortable.
Hotel Vienna was unable to host us due to road construction but they made sure we were comfortable at an amazing place next door! Such a beautiful area!
