Short driving distance to Kronplatz/Plan de Corones for downhill skiing and at the same time the possibility to visit the biathlon stadium Anthloz/Anterselva, where there are modified circuits for cross-country skiing, driving distance to Brixen/Bressanone, where it is possible to use a swimming pool with a toboggan, whirlpool, etc. In Bruneck /Brunico possibility of shopping in the large supermarket Interspar. We went in July. Not so scenic to our expectations.
We went in July. Not so scenic to our expectations. The tall, interesting mountains like Tre Cime, Sassolungo are not visible from here. It was a hassle to everytime drive out of this place into the other areas of interest. However the lakes are easy to drive from here (braies, Dobbiaco etc.). Also the streams in this area are a good place to spend some time. The good thing about this area is that its away from the "crowded" places. So its quiet and peaceful. Next time, I would rather prefer to stay near the hotspots like Urtijëi (close to Seceda and sassolungo), Misurina (close to Tre Cime), St. Magdalena, Maybe during winter, this place looks more scenic.

Large hotel car park and facilities to lock our bikes in cellar. Good breakfast buffet and we enjoyed our evening meals in the hotel restaurant. Relaxing terrace with colourful flowers to sit and enjoy a drink or coffee. We would return again if in the area.
