We loved our stay here. The town is surrounded by amazing scenery and areas which are so different from coastal Sicily, the hilltop medieval towns could be in Tuscany and Umbria. It's an area with a rich history but there is also the opportunity to go hiking in the Madonia national park where we saw deer, wild boar and lots of birds. The woodland that covers many of the hillsides has an enormous variety of tree species too.
There are also lots of small restaurants and we ate and drank well at lower than normal prices.
An excellent choice all round!

It’s a very quiet but beautiful area which has a few most beautiful historic villages of Sicily like Gangi, Petralia Soprana and Polizzi Generosa. You may find hard to move around in this area as I didn’t see much public transport so you will need to have your own transport to move around easily plus you can go to those areas where there’s no access through public transport. People are so friendly and welcoming. I met a local family in Bompietro and we became a very good friends. So yeah it was worth visiting this area of Sicily. Highly recommended.

Giovanna was an amazing host. The room was beautiful and well presented and we had everything we needed. The location was stunning - Petralia Soprana is a beautiful and peaceful town and we loved our stay. The best part of our stay at Cas'Antica Soprana was the breakfast. Giovnna laid out an absolutely incredible spread in the mornings including the most delicious freshly baked cakes and pastries. We can't thank her enough!
Giovanna was a great host, very helpful and welcoming. She prepared a breakfast for us every morning, which we really enjoyed. The breakfast was rich, made from local ingredients and slightly different every day so we tried many delicious things. The B&B is located in a charming little town of Petralia Soprana, we loved the place a lot and would recommend staying there to anyone visiting the area.
This is an excellent small hotel in a modernized renovated charming old stone building: the rooms are very nice and include a desk and a mini-frig and there is a pleasant lounge area on the second floor. The breakfast met our needs. The staff was very pleasant about answering our questions and helping us with dinner reservations.
Great facilities, very comfortable and clean. Gaspare very helpful - even telephoned us after we had checked out to check everything had been ok. Great location in quiet side street near the centre of Petralia Soprana - which is a stunning old hill top village with good restaurants.
We loved everything about Verso Est and Petralia Soprana. Host and staff were super friendly and helpful and our room was comfortable with everything we needed during our stay. Parking available only a short walk away from the house. We loved it so much we hope to be back!
It is a perfect Sicilian house with wonderful view of the town, Etna and surroundings. We loved it very much. It is large, you have everything what you need and the owner is helpful. Petralia Soprana is a nice smaller town
Petralia Soprana is a beautiful town with fantastic views and three outstanding baroque churches. We thought it would be more crowded. It was surprisingly peaceful.
