The Albergo Del Sole was so empty due to the weather that Angelo and Illiana, the proprietors, moved me to a sister full service hotel in Sulmona called Holiday. They were accommodating and gracious. Offered free wine and a meal for my troubles.

Set at the foot of the Maiella National Park, 5 minutes' drive from Roccaraso, Cipriani features a traditional restaurant and rooms with free WiFi.

We love everything on our vacation! We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Location in it's finest. The room that we got was comfortable and clean. You have everything in the room/equipments that exactly what you need for a trip! Housekeeping clean our room nice and neatly! Front desk is so friendly, very helpful and accomodating. They even brought us an extra heater for our room and a cup of tea when I was not feeling good the 2nd night. They are so thoughtful and welcoming, making sure that we are well taken care of. The highlight of our trip was the included breakfast, extra meals (lunch/dinner) that Chef really cooked so good and tasty. Kudos to the restaurant team as well! And last but not the least, the customer service of the 2 waiters working in restaurant! An excellent and professional people that we highly recommended!! Day and night they are always with a warm greetings and smile on their face. Overall experience in this hotel is 10 out of 10. We couldn't find a words to express how we really enjoy and love this trip. One of the best hotel that we HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! THEY ARE ABOVE AND BEYOND!! Will surely be back!!!
