Silvia was extremely helpful in booking our group of 8 dinner reservations and the food was excellent! The staff also was accommodating on our early arrival by taking our luggage and helped us with taxis and bus schedules. The hotel is an older building and there are not a lot of amenities (as expected for a 3 star hotel) but it was very clean, beds were comfortable and the layout and space was perfect for our group of 8. Many in our group enjoyed this hotel more than the 4-star places we stayed in Sorrento and Rome! We would definitely go back.
It was a cute little town with an incredibly rich history.
It was a cute little town with an incredibly rich history. No matter who you are, you'll find something to do; whether that be dining out, visiting historical sites, tasting the artisanal wines of the nearby towns or surrounding yourself with nature. The townspeople are lovely and will happily have a little chat with you. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area!
Pacentro is a gorgeous ancient mountain village, and the terrace house is right in the heart in a perfect location. The charming old world feel really makes you feel you have stepped back in time. We were delighted with everything about our stay, including outstanding self checkin instruction, from our host Fabio which included a map of the village highlighting points of interest. This was our favourite immersion experience in Italy. There is even a medieval castle just above the house. We spent hours just exploring the streets and lanes.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Just a few meters from the towering castle battlements of this charming medieval village, this house is superbly situated and thoroughly comfortable. The hosts have gone to great lengths to make their place comfy and functional; 2 bathrooms and a great big comfortable bed, fireplace and large dining table, and great kitchen for home cooking make this place more than a safe bet while staying in Pacentro!
Beautiful mointain views, very nicely renovated rooms in a historical house. as a bonus a good pool with amazing views. The garden and surroundings well taken care and nice.
Suitable walk to historic Pacentro village and a short drive to a small but nice Sulvano town.
Host was very friendly and co-operative, breakfast tasty on a most fascinating terrace.
Breakfast was adequate and had variety.
The location was excellent as it was close to Pacentro and easy to get to other interesting places like Pescocostanzo, Campo di Giove, Beffi and Bominaco. Outstanding views all the way. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Luca gave us valuable advice on where to go and the best way to get there.
Beautiful medieval country house close to the ancient village of Pacentro. Perfect location for trips/hikes to the Majela mountains. Very nice and sympathetic host. Rich breakfast. Spectacular views from the garden to Pacentro and the Sulmona plain. Stunning pool surrounded by olive trees. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about the Stone House and the beautiful town of Pacentro. Fabio sent us lots of helpful information before and during our stay, and made sure the house was warm when we arrived. The house is decorated with care and love and we had everything we needed.
Very good location in the heart of Pacentro, and easy to park not to far from the flat. We were able to 'check-in' early. Loved the breezy window with the excellent view from the bedroom. Overall comfy stay and was nice that there was a Moka and some coffee to use.
