Hotel Eira, hotel in Oga

Enjoy being just 656 feet from the ski elevators and a 10-minute walk from Bormio city center at Hotel Eira, a modest and affordable 2-star hotel overlooking the valley.

The property is in SUCH a beautiful spot. Once you make your way up, you have a perfect view of the alps and, for those of you who ski, you’re right next to the ski lift. The room itself was simple and nice, and the restaurant downstairs is AMAZING! I believe it opens at 18:30 for dinner service most nights of the week and they have a little bit of everything - pizza, pasta, meat, dessert. The surrounding area is adorable, very quaint and small town vibe.

Typical Apline village, steep streets, one definitely needs a car to get around the area, There is a local bus but it doesn't run very often. The village has a food shop. Bormio is 10 min drive and has plenty of shopping, walks, cycling and restaurants. The Oga fort is worth visiting.
