Nova Ponente is a few minutes drive from the village where the apartment is at, but it offers a lot more eating and shopping options; it also happens to be quite active because it is on the road to many ski locations. It is good to have it be nearby but I preferred the restive peaceful village where the apartment is at.

Nice and quiet Alto Adige town. Very close to Obereggen and also to Karersee. Beautiful dolomite views and many possibilities to hike. Not very far from Bozen with attractions like a daily fruit and vegetable market or the main Messner Mountain Museum Firmian in Sigmundskron castle.MechthildGermany

The location is just great and we easily traveled within 20-40min to different ski areas- Obereggen/Latemar, Pampeago, and our favorite - Carezza. The apartment was clean, with very comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. The spa area is just great, providing you with all you need. It is nicely decorated and fitted with everything we needed apart from shower, which we did at the spa facilities, for which we were granted 24 hour access. The manager was great and we had an excellent experience. The breakfast was simple but good. The location is well-suited to visit the west side of the Dolomites, such as lake Carezza, the Latemar and Catinaccio groups.
