We visited Molveno in April, low season. The village exceeded our expectations especially since it had recently snowed and the surrounding mountains were covered in snow. Lake Molveno is spectacular especially when viewed from the mountain tops. A cable car takes you to snow covered mountain tops with breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Molveno was picturesque, and a great location to access hikes and mountain biking trails. We visited end of September and had the best weather anyone could ask for. Great for an active family holiday.

Lovely little town with great hiking around in the area including good hikes from the town itself. A nice grassy beach area for swimming and boating. A great location for a few days to experience the Dolomiti

Probably the most beautiful town we have ever visited.
Probably the most beautiful town we have ever visited. Easy to walk everywhere with pavements, very clean, flowers in the entire town. The Funivie Molveno lift is a must as on a clear day you get beautiful views of the lake from the Pradel mountain top as well as an interesting 2 hour hike around Sciury Park. Best hotel to stay at is Du Lac, everything was truly genuine and perfect. For Pizza and beer we recommend Taverna La Botte. We stayed for 2 nights but there are enough outdoor activities and nearby villages to keep you busy for a week. 100% recommended!Alexandrou - 10Scored 10

The city of Molveno is very nice, including the surrounding area around Lago di Molveno. The supermarket in Andalo is awfully overpriced. The ski lifts are bit old-fashioned, we would recommend visiting the area in summer
