It was just big enough to spend a couple days exploring the surrounding area on foot but we also realised it would be great in the summer to explore further. Although it is a hilly village/small town, most things we needed were no more than a 5-10 minute walk from our location. we liked staying at Hotel Zeni as it wasn't right in the middle of the restaurant area, but just on the edge of it, so it was nice and quiet.
We bought ski passes

The accommodation is absolutely perfect.
The accommodation is absolutely perfect. They have done amazing job when reconstructing an old mountain hut. It's very comfortable, clean and stylish. To reach Madonna di Campiglio by car you need 15 min, to reach Pinzolo about 5 min. The nearest ski lift is also about 5 min by car, easy to park. We will definitely come back, as this is a perfect solution for a large family or group of friend. No neighbors, very quiet place in the middle of nature. The landlords family is very pleasant and welcoming. Definitely a place to stay if you don't mind being away from downtown of Madonna.

We stayed at the Diana for 3 nights in June, 2023.
We stayed at the Diana for 3 nights in June, 2023. We had a magical experience from beginning to end, and were sad that we had to leave. The owners are genuinely warm, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful with advice on hiking in the area. We were given a very high level of service. The dinners at the restaurant were excellent and they have a good selection of wines to choose from.

Its a great resort with a broad range of intermediate well cared for trails. Excellent snow making and elevation, so they seem to always have snow even when neighboring resorts donot. Lifts are all quite new, high speed quads and sixers with many gondolas spread throughout the resort. Skiing in all directions from town. Excellent hotel walking vicinity to lifts, ski rental and bars/restaurants in town. Nice town with plenty of shops and restaurants if you donot choose the “semi-pension” meal option at your hotel. Our hotel had a great breakfast included.
Quality of food everywhere was excellent and a great value. Our hotel didnot even charge us extra for parking car in their garage

We did not stay in the town of Madonna di Campiglio itself.
We did not stay in the town of Madonna di Campiglio itself. What we saw of it on a previous visit it is a typical ski resort town. Not much of a centre, just a lot of hotels and restaurants.
A pleasant little lake one can walk around.
Nice facilities for families with small children with grassy areas and playgrounds. The attraction however is the scenery and the beautiful walks in the surrounding Dolomites (summer).

Super friendly helful staff. Mrs Michaela and young man at the reception top service! Driver Goran nice and friendly. Mrs Lorenzetti talks to every guest every morning during breakfast how was the stay and night. The same during superb dinner at hotel restaurant! Good example is spread by lady owner. Waiters at restaurant very proffesional. Spa very spacious. Saunas of all kind. Pool. Relax zone. Infrared beds. Free parking. Free shuttle. Close location to ski lift. Plenty of choice breakfast. The best stay in Italy ever. Shall come back...
Great location. 2 minutes waking to the Spinale lift. Very clean. The service was fantastic, both the agency staff (Salvo) and the property manager on site (Walter) - they helped us with everything we needed. Spacious balcony, but we weren’t able to use it in the winter. The apartment is as described size-wise, it was a bit on a smaller size for 3 of us, but we managed. Bathroom is newly renovated. Kitchen is well equipped; it even includes a microwave. Fantastic mattresses on every bed- firm and solid.
I especially enjoyed the wellness center. It was a nice place to relax after hiking or during rainy weather. My single room had a great view from the balcony. The reception had maps and tourist brochures. Breakfast had a good variety. Parking was adequate, but some of the spaces were tight. A steak house is next to the hotel and a pizzeria is a short hike uphill.
The location is perfect - 5 minutes down the street there's Laghi gondola, and you can take routes 91 or 85 to get back right to the hotel.
Breakfast is good. It includes yogurt, cereals, a few types of cheeses and meats, fruits, and desserts.
The room was cleaned daily while I was skiing.
The owners were super friendly and always willing to help.
The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. The wellness room was a great surprise for us and was perfect after a day of hiking. The stuff was veryyy nice to us, welcoming and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and hikes around the area, and even let us take a good shower after we encountered a rain storm on the mountains.
Breakfast was fantastic, lovely pastries, cereals, hams/cheese, scrambled eggs on toast and more. Proximity to ski lift brilliant. Ski Hire right across road. Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi and outdoor hot tub - amazing. Ski storage excellent. Car parking *extra cost, but beside hotel.
It is very old building, and only some rooms seems to be reasonably renovated (but probably all booked via booking). It has its charm, and we found the breakfast quite good. Given the fact that it is 5min with car from Madonna di Campiglio, for the price it is definitely very good deal.
Very pleasant service staff. The hosts are also very nice. Even the driver who drove from the hotel to the lift was very helpful. The bar area of the hotel, as well as the breakfast room, were very comfortably furnished. The spa area is also very cozy. Everything was very clean.
Breakfast is good.
Location is away from the center of Madonna di Campiglio.
It is not Ski in ski out, as said in booking.com
it is close to the ski slopes but you need to walk a lot not ski to and from the hotel.
It is not 50m as written but 200m from the ski lifts.
Great breakfast and the spa was good. In fact everything was great. I prefer ski in ski out hotels so was a bit concerned but the hotel free mini bus shuttle was fantastic, you just call them and they come and pick you up normally in a few minutes.
location NOT siso but they have a van that takes and picks up, VERY NICE!!!!!! checked in late and chef was willing to stay and make us dinner we did not have reservations for, quite nice, parking under hotel and around drive area
All persons owning and working in this hotel are exceptional friendly. They try to fulfill your wishes before you tell them. The transport with the hotel bus to the ski resort is very flexibel and perfectly organized.
Great hotel. Very nice and always helpful staff :). Tasty breakfasts. View of the mountains from the window. Advantages only. I hope to return to Madonna di Campiglio and this hotel someday. Than
The hotel was conveniently located and the shuttle service to the lofts really made the everyone’s experience that much nicer, especially with younger children.
A wonderful Refugio, actually more a hotel than a Refugio. The food was great and the double room we had was very comfortable and nice! Definitely recommended!!
