We travelled as a family of four and had a pleasant time. The breakfast was very good in an italian style, and the owner (Tomasso) was ready to make an excellent cup of coffee every morning.
He drove us to the skilift every morning when we were ready and he picked us up again in the afternoon. Tomasso was very helpful with everything and made the stay very authentic.
The hotel was located near the city centre that has a lot of tasty restaurants. We had a beautiful view and the hotel was clean, cozy and had a lot of italian charm.
We will definetly come back!

Room with great character. Some pleasing aspect/style wherever one looks. Would have liked days to peruse the books. As a hiker coming off the trail: strong hot shower.

Limone is a lovely little town just outside of Cuneo.
Limone is a lovely little town just outside of Cuneo. Flights from Turin/Milan or Nice are just as handy although the colle di tenda tunnel is currently closed due to last year heavy flooding. There is plenty of restaurants and bars to chose from. Ski slopes are nice, well kept and for all levels. There are few skiing schools which also offer group classes for kids which are cheaper than single lessons and a lot more fun! A big place for hiring gear is Bottero ski hire and shop, which can be done online prior departing. Ski passes are generally not refundable so I was glad I bought only 5 days instead of 6 as one day ski slopes were closed, as there wasn’t any difference in price we opted to buy 5 days and keep our options open and it showed to be best practice to avoid losing cash on 4 ski passes, over 100 euro.

Really lovely village, with good shops and restaurants.
Really lovely village, with good shops and restaurants. I would stay longer in the ski season, but is lovely at any time of year. Unfortunately, the Tende tunnel is still closed, which makes access more difficult when coming from the Côte d'Azur.

Shame this was only a short trip as my wife had a fall and broke her arm, but the recovery from the piste and the help from the hotel were both brilliant, hope to get back to finish the holiday sometime!

Pretty village with good mix of shops, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distances. There is also currently an interesting exhibition of original works by Andy Warhol.
Nearby slopes are good for beginners and more experienced skiers/snow boarders.
Only downside is the limited number of parking spaces, especially at weekend. We saw quite a number of cars parked with parking tickets waiting for their owners!

For everyone who plans to stay at Limone P.te for skiing, this is an ideal place for family or friends.
The location is right in Limone, with a spacious free parking space (like 2 mins walking). The apt has all amenities, a great wifi connection, all kitchen supplies, two bedrooms (one big one with king-size bed and small bed and one small bedroom for one person + sofa in the living room). The host is a super nice lady and helpful with tips and info for places to go.
Nice friendly family hotel. Super clean. In the first floor you can find nice lobby with fireplace there you can taste glass of Dolcetto, Barbera or even Barolo. 10-15 min. with car to Limone Piemontre center or ski lift Maneggio (this good for kids or beginners), 5-10 min. walk from Maneggio to Severino Bottero gondola to advanced level.
Great cost-benefit. If you're going mainly for skiing, it's perfect. There is a slope right next to the place which takes you to the main lift in the area, and you can get back home using it as well. The host was flexible and very friendly. There's free parking, and the heating works really well.
Thank to the whole staff (receptionist, cleaning lady) for the hospitality and the kindness. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The continental breakfast was also good. The location is very good, close to the center of the city. We could leave our car and motorbikes in the hotel garage.
Located in the middle of town, about a 10min uphill walk to the ski lift tele-cabin, we rented a locker at the lift ski hire shop about 50m from the lift. The apartment does off a shuttle but we never used it. Location is perfect for evenings in town. Would return.
A small, but nice apartment with bedroom, living room with table and couch (convertible into a bed) and a small kitchen. The apartment has everything that is needed and is located strategically, close to the skiing lifts. Very friendly and helpful host.
Quaint beautiful town in mountainous scenery. Beautiful and convenient hotel. Could have used air conditioning in August, but they gave us a fan and it usually wouldn’t be an issue.
Family-run hotel, who were all very welcoming and lovely. Solid breakfast and restaurant for lunch / dinner. Menu options tend to be on the "richer" side of the food spectrum.
