La Thuile is a beautiful, quiet and family-friendly village.
La Thuile is a beautiful, quiet and family-friendly village. I visited with my girlfriend, so I didn't go looking for too many Après-Skis. Everything is relatively close and there are some good restaurants.
Some of the ski lifts could have been more up-to-date, but nothing negative.

La Thuile is a quiet resort with a decent number of good restaurants and nice shops selling local produce. The ski area is fantastic and the fact that you can ski into La Rosiere and it's ski area is brilliant. Although we didn't take advantage of it, the general Aosta valley areas are linked up and you can use a six day ski pass in specified other ski areas in the valley for two of those days, so there's a lot of variety. I'm also told that your ski pass gets you on to the ski bus services, and the Mont Blanc Skyway cable car (though I believe the cable car uses both of your 'non LaThuile' day passes - but it's a huge saving. It's super easy to get to by car from Turin, the atmosphere in the village is nice, the mountain bars and restaurants are good and reasonably priced. I'd go back again for sure.

We were delighted to discover charming La Thuile in the Italian Alps. We only shuttled between our accommodation and the ski station with our family of four. But, we were delighted with the surroundings of the charming town and mountains. The ski station was friendly, uncrowded, easy and perfect for families. Food on the mountain was good and not too expensive. In town there are no major grocery stores, but we found a little shop (Il Castello Ortofrutta E Alimentari) with all the food essentials and excellent local products. Driving in town was easy, but on the more crowded weekends parking at the station filled up quickly. The free town shuttle makes a good option. We had a fantastic sojourn and cannot return to experience the summer and another ski trip.

La Thuile is a small scale resort with an enormous number of ski pistes, thanks to its connection to La Rosière. It feels more authentic and less industrial than most Alpine ski resorts. It is relatively family friendly and good value for money
The hosts were just the nicest people. So welcoming and accommodating! They made the whole stay exceptional. The breakfast had a nice bit of variety from delicious meats, to local cheeses, to soft/medium/hard boiled eggs and yogurts + lots of cereals. Oh also fresh bread and croissants. Really I left every morning bordering on too full, but it was great for skiing. The showers were wonderfully hot with great pressure.
The apartment was close to the main ski lift but the walk was difficult with step steps and up and down. By instead taking the free ski bus it was very easy to reach the lift (bus stop was less then 100 m from the apartment). Everything you needed was in the apartment. The lady in charge was great, easy to get access to and supportive.
Virtually slope side accommodation and very comfortable. Large enough for 4 people comfortably. Parking spot, very handy in La Thuile and walkable to most of the town. There is a pizza restaurant almost next door which i assume is very good as i could never get a table.
Everything was great. Starting with the management and staff to the location and facilities, the restaurant and food was wonderful. All hotel and restaurant staff were amazing and kind, very professional and cooperative. The location is unique.
We had a fantastic welcome and great service throughout our stay. A quiet family run hotel and restaurant in a perfect location for the ski bus - and very close to other restaurants and classy bars. Really clean and spacious.
Room was great, facilities were excellent (private parking, nice spa, ski room), good breakfast, fantastic location (300m away from the Telecabins), very kind staff
Great apartment, well equipped for family stay.
Location great in a quiet part of La Thuile, short ski bus or drive to lifts.
Good value for family of 4 ski trip
The location and hotel are so dreamy! Everything looks wonderful and the room was great. Almost like you’re sleeping in a treehouse. Breakfast was also very good.
Great cosy warm, comfortable flat in a lovely location we loved La Thuile super skiing - really useful to have use of the indoor garage as we drove to Italy.
Near the ski bus station. Great view of the mountain. Underground parking garage. Ski equipment storage and drying room. Grocery store on the first floor.
Breakfast and dinner were quite good. The spa is very nice although the staff could be more hospitable. The location is great if you're there for skiing.
