We went there during a busy month, August, and the place was lively. We strolled along the alleys of the Central Park where people can enjoy an ice-cream or kurttoskolac. Just before you enter the park, on the right, there's a nice restaurant though we had to wait a little for the food to be served. And if you love hiking, there are different paths you could enjoy. We were advised to follow the red cross path which took us to Obcina Mare where we enjoyed some good food and nice view at Cabana Gigi Ursu. Highly recommend it!CatalinRomania - 8.0Scored 8.0

Shops and restaurants are in the center of Vatra Dornei, and it is a bit of a far drive. But honestly it was worth it to be in the calm and quiet provided by Doru Muntelui. There were attention to details from the very beginning, having a chimney inside the room, and a bottle of wine in the freezer. The wifi worked perfectly, and the beds were comfy. The surroundings were beautiful and really quiet. You can park your car inside the house. If you are staying near Vatra Dornei, the place is 100% recommended.
