Sinaia is a place to go for skiing maybe and visiting the famous Peles and Pelisor castles. Other than that, the resort is dirty, sad looking and very crowded. The air seems very polluted so you’ll not be getting that fresh mountain air you want. I would go through Sinaia again, but not to stay.

A beautiful city any time of the year.
A beautiful city any time of the year. We went during December and it was amazing, the decorations were beautiful, the city hall looks like a small castle and the trees were all with charismas lights. Beautiful place to stay and one can do a lot of stuff, visiting castles, taking long walks, plus there are plenty of places with good food.

Great place for weekend escapes with family or friends.
Great place for weekend escapes with family or friends. Plenty of local cuisine restaurants and huge number of places to stay at a very reasonable price. The only bad thing is the traffic, expect up to 2-3 hours in standstill traffic while travelling to Sinaia.

A stunning place to visit!
A stunning place to visit! Gorgeous setting in the mountains and lots to see while you're there. We loved Peles and Pelisor castles and their fairytale setting. Our accommodation Casa Larisa was incredible and we enjoyed a delicious meal at Forest Restaurant. Cofetaria Palace in the park makes a tasty smoothie and tempting ice cream and cafe treats. Loved it in the summer and imagine its beuatiful in winter too!

Charming town with fresh and tasty air, many cafe and opportunity for good shopping.
We ate in restaurants in hotel Sinaia: one inside, one - outside. Both were very good.
The views are amazing, the architecture is fantastic: every house is like a small castle.
The park is so beautiful. You just want to stay there for hours.

Sinaia looks great these days - the pavement, the buildings in the old centre, all the infrastructure, in general, have been reconditioned, renewed. It has a beautiful park, good restaurants, interesting places to visit, like Peleș Castle etc. You can go hiking on the trails surrounding the resort, you can take the cable cabin up the mountains if you're not that young anymore. The view upthere is breathtaking. Everything about Sinaia is just wonderful and I always revisit it with great pleasure.
Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and restaurant staff, lovely and great impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was great. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had breakfast and dinner.Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and very comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future
The hotel building is a nice historical building. It's not far from the main sights (Peleș and Pelișor castles, monastery) and not far from the train station. The inside of the house is very nice and cosy (exactly as the pictures look like). The restaurant (we ate breakfast and dinner) was really great. The bed was very comfortable. There is a sort of common room with stained glass windows, tables and armchairs, which was comfy in the evening. And there was a kettle in the room.
The room was warm and quiet. The hotel is in a very old building with really high ceilings and parquet flooring. It looks charming, like something out of a Harry Potter film. The host was pleasant and very helpful. The pillows I think must have been filled with goosedown as they were veeery comfy. Clean bedsheets. Overall, it was a cheap stay, it did the job, the only big let down was the grubby batheoom. There's a restaurant downstairs so meals were hassle free.
Modern, spacious and clean. The perfect place to stay in Sinaia. Despite the listing not including parking there was lots of free street parking out the front. It's an easy flat walk to where the restaurants are in town. From most other properties you'd be walking up or down a steep hill on your way there and back. The shower had good pressure and the bathroom was modern. There were power outlets next to the bed which is great for charging your phone.
Great hotel, with nice modern rooms, we were upgraded to a room with balcony, even though we booked one without. The value for money is absolutely amazing for such hotel. Complementary wine and desert in the restaurant. Comfy beds and great facilities. La Roq, the restaurant, was amazing. It offered tasty meals, without being expensive. The best restaurant in Sinaia. We couldn't test the Spa facilities, but that was our mistake.
Perfect service from the staff, proper and delicious dishes, the coziness of the hotel, quiet surroundings. Beautiful music in the common areas, sweet and nice smell all over in the hotel, it is just giving you a feeling of a peaceful retreat. I have to recommend the baked mountain grouse - it is exquisite, and also the mushroom soup (in the pic)! Also, for me, their sour soups (ciorbă in romanian) are very tasty.
The view is fantastic. The restaurant Tirol at the location has very delicious food. The hotel has a decent size spa, the room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The location is great, 2 min walk to the bus station from where you can go to the ski gondola. If you want to walk to visit Sinaia it is just a few minutes walk to restaurants and cafes. We will definitely return here.
This is the former Holiday Inn Hotel in Sinaia built with the facilities of the brand: the indoor-outdoor pool is really beautiful in all kinds of weather.
The rooms and the beds in the twin rooms are larger than the standard and very comfortable.
We liked the birds' nests on the balcony and the good bus connection to Sinaia centre.
This is a truly exceptional place. In Foișorul cu Flori you find attention to the least details, comfort, quality of services, including food and drinks at the Restaurant. Sinaia is considered the Carpathian's gem, for me Foișorul cu Flori is Sinaia's gem. The new facilities (the Spa Center) add value to this fabolous place.
Vila Arizto is a truly boutique-hotel in terms of everything! And the staff together with the owner is undoubtedly the cherry on top.
Perfect location (15.min max by foot to Sinaia's downtown), dreamy rooms (each one decorated in a different style), yummy quality breakfast to savour on the terrace facing the mountains.
We can't wait to return to Sinaia so that we can stay here again! What an amazing proterty, we loved it. Immaculately clean, wonderful staff, superb breakfast, comfy bed (best nights sleep on our 3 week trip to Romania) The house is amazing. Location perfect. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
Everything was great! Restaurant have fine dining, spa is wonderfull, the view is breathtakeing. The rooms are very clean, the service is great!
And because my birthday was during the stay at Belmont Hotel, i recived from the reception lady a gift.
I would like to thank all of you.
The hotel is in a beautiful historic building. The staff only partially speak English and still the communication worked and there was an overall friendly atmosphere. Located in a beautiful town with plenty of restaurants, yet surrounded by beautiful nature: beautiful balance!
The staff were all very helpful and did a great job. The food at the in hotel restaurant was great although a little limited for breakfast options. The views were perfect and it was serenely quiet and made it very easy to enjoy the nature and beauty around you.
Very well located in the "good side" of Sinaia, near the gondola and some good restaurants. Rooms are big , no problem with parking. For a small "villa like" hotel, it has elevator and a bar. Very quiet location in the middle of charming natural environment.
Nice ans clean apartment with everything needed, and if course the jacuzzi.
Even a private parking place in a covered parking, which is a good thing in Sinaia.
